It comes to no suprise to me that another eskimo hates God and says yes to perversion. But this time, it happens to be a REPUBLICAN

Alaska’s Murkowski Becomes Third G.O.P. Senator to Support Gay Marriage

Senator Lisa Murkowski, the Alaska Republican who has emerged as one of her party’s more moderate members in the Senate, said Wednesday that she supports same-sex marriage.

She becomes only the third Republican in the Senate to do so.

In a lengthy op-ed posted on her Web site, Ms. Murkowski said that what helped change her mind on the issue was getting to know a lesbian couple from Alaska. They were a family in every sense but one, Ms. Murkowski wrote. They adopted four children. They stayed together after enduring a separation because one of them served abroad in the Alaska National Guard.

“Yet despite signing up and volunteering to give themselves fully to these four adorable children, our government does not meet this family halfway and allow them to be legally recognized as spouses,” Ms. Murkowski wrote. “This first-class Alaskan family still lives a second-class existence.”

With the Supreme Court set to decide a pair of same-sex marriage cases as early as next week, Ms. Murkowski said, she felt compelled to speak up. She follows two fellow Republicans, Senators Mark Kirk of Illinois and Rob Portman of Ohio, in supporting same-sex marriage. Mr. Portman announced his support in March after his son revealed to him that he is gay.

As Mr. Portman did, Ms. Murkowski articulated a conservative case for same-sex marriage, noting that the government should stay out of the private lives of loving couples while promoting the societal benefits of couples wedded by law.

“I recently read an interview where Ronald Reagan’s daughter said that she believes he would have supported same-sex marriage, that he would think ‘What difference does it make to anybody else’s life?’ ” she wrote. “Like Reagan, Alaskans believe that government works best when it gets out of the way.”

Alaska’s Democratic senator, Mark Begich, said in March that he supports same-sex marriage. Mr. Begich is up for re-election next year.

Oh, mercy! The population of Alaska is around three quarters of a million, and most of them live in a communal igloo in Anchorage. A lesbian couple could turn the entire state gay in less than three months!

I've lost count of the number of times the Landover Baptists have called shenanigans on your made-up version of Christianity, and you still haven't explained how you know that your version is right. I'm confused, I see nothing in the verse given that alludes to specifically homosexual people, I see actions that any immoral person could do, regardless of their sexual orientation.

I have many gay friends, and I've seen many moral and beautiful relationships with healthy, emotionally and morally upstanding children. As long as your parents are good people, their genders are irrelevant.

And regardless, and I cannot stress this enough, this subject does not concern anyone not planning to enter a gay marriage. Essentially, if you don't like gay marriage, don't have one. The only person in control of your actions/feelings/opinions is you, and you can never control anyone else's, so don't push.

If a person decides to engage in counsel for this, it should be their choice and their choice alone, it's our inherent human and civil right.

Gay marriage is not detrimental to anything in our country, the only thing it might cause is an angry backlash from those who are not understanding, thus creating problems.

No one is asking for support, just tolerance.
You may not believe in say Buddhism, but just because you don't support it doesn't mean you can't understand everyone is allowed to their own beliefs and be tolerant.

Gay marriage is not detrimental to anything in our country, the only thing it might cause is an angry backlash from those who are not understanding, thus creating problems.

This is a common world-view among those that have bought the fag agenda's lies that "queers just want to be happy, too." It's all a hoax designed to eventually make public sodomy legal.

You've obviously never chosen to be a homo and are quite naive. I have. For twenty miserable years I packed mud, and there was not one happy or productive day. All I recall is sadness and shame at the end of the day, no matter how many anonymous rectums I nailed, or erections I fellated. One day, I was just sick and tired of being a degenerate pervert and asked Jesus for help. Fag-free from that moment on, and I could not be happier or healthier.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that.
