    Hey there

    Hello
wanna play a game...try and convert me.

Let me tell you my story...from an young age i have been studying the bible. I even identified myself as christian for a while...but then i realized how silly and logical Christianity was and grew out of it. i am now agnostic.

so do you think you can convert me...i'd like to see you try

Well you have one thing going in your favour - you can learn, even if you're a very slow learner. After 15 posts, you have finally found somewhere that you can introduce yourself.

So, what's your favourite verse from the Bible?
Which church did you once attend?

So you think True Christianity™ is a game?
It's not - it's the most serious life (and death) experience you can ever have. It is the main reason you were put on this earth to begin with - God put you here so that you can glorify Him.
So sorry, we don't play games here. Games are for small children. If you want to become a True Christian™ it is you who has to put in the hard work, not us. We are not here to convert you, unlike all those false Christian churches who are trying to convert you merely to part you from your bank account.
At LBC, you worship the Lord because you choose to and you tithe because you want to.
So, the only advice I can give you is to read the King James Bible from front cover to back, several times over. If you feel called, then ask us for help in how to grow and enrich your life with Jesus.
Most pertinently to your question, we're not here to play games. We're here to worship Jealous, the Lord God Almighty.

Do you see the logic in sentence structure and punctuation?

            Re: Hey there

Friend, Salvation isn't a game. That isn't how it works. Time and time again, it has been shown to us that when some God-mocker comes swaggering in here, possibly drunk on gin, demanding that we "prove" to him the Love of Jesus...well, it's just a losing battle for us, isn't it? Anything we say, you will strike down without a shred of evidence, no matter how much we show you the Truth through Bible verses.

When you decide to come to your senses and let God do the thinking for you instead of secular science, He will be waiting with open arms. (Proverbs 3:5) I hope you don't drink yourself to death before then or you may find yourself sobering up in Hell!

I'll be praying for your soul, because you have a long way to go. I've seen many agnostic, athiest, false Christians, in my time both on these forums and in my daily work, so you are not a special case, just one more wayward sheep. Mr. Farmer said it well; you need to read the Bible from beginning to end and pray that the Lord has mercy upon you and opens up your eyes, ears, and heart.

              Yours in Christ,
              Elizabeth

                Hello Luke,

Jesus be with you and all of your insanity. What are your favorite passages? What haven't you understood on the bible? In the beginning it's normal to be a little confused but I hope I can help you regain your faith!

                With my best regards,

I'm afraid, Brother, that this not-so-smart-person doesn't have the mental capacity to comprehend an entire sentence.

That leaves the possibility of five midgets and thousand island dressing. Are you sure you want to go there?

so the bible was was written 16th century BCE and you sat it hasn't been corrupted or changed since it was written right.

then how come fir one of the "fill in the blank in the bible verse" questions in the sign up process for this site the answer is a Unicorn.

unicorns were first used in European mythology hundreds of years after the bible was written.
