If there were errors in the KJV, don't you believe God could snap His Fingers and correct them? Are you implying that is beyond the power of the Creator?Originally posted by Robert William View PostWhat falshoods, it's a sin to bear false witness.
The Canon scrolls of 66 books are inspired and perfect, the copies of the KJV we have today have very minor errors in them, they are not perfect, thankfully we can go to the Hebrew and the Greek to correct the errors.

God had the Bible written. Therefore, being His Word, it is perfect.
2nd Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
(God told the prophet what to write.)
Jeremiah 36:2 Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.
(God told the prophet what to write.)
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
There is no talk of spacey men or area 51 goblins in the Bible, Rob. Only the irrefutable facts of creation to present day.
I have to say, you do not seem like a Christian. A True Christian™ simply knows God would not make up fantastic falsehoods.

All Christians sin, that's why they need a Savior, if Christians could be perfect then Christ died in vain. Christians are only sinless because of Christ, not of themselves, you see Christians sinning all the time, be honest, if you say no you have sinned.Originally posted by MitzaLizalor View PostIf that's what you think you're caught rather between a rock and a hard place. Indeed, Brother James. This fellow seems to know so little that I am going to suggest something I thought I would never have to do.Originally posted by James Hutchins View PostWelcome Mr. William, May I call you Robert? Super!
Well Will, you seem to know very little of Christianity, not suprising living in a frozen wasteland like you do, having eskimoe squaws feeding you blubber and being drunk all the time.
So Bob, have you decided to give yourself to God? To lay prostate on His Lap of of Love and have Him guide to His place of Salvation?
I think that at the moment the KJV is beyond his capabilities. He is ignorant of even the most basic stories in the Bible, Moses, Noah, etc. Before he is ready to take on the True Bible, he would benefit from preliminary stidies. I suggest these:

Perhaps I'll concentrate on my prayers now. Jesus has advised me that it would be more profitable.
Proverbs 14:7
Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

Well Billy, not being Him, knowing because of Him, everything exists, I do not deserve an explanation right now do I? He gave us the Bible and in the Bible, tells us all we need to know.Originally posted by Robert William View PostAmen, what do you think of a God who slaughters 42 children for calling a prophet baldy? 2Ki 2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
2Ki 2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
2Ki 2:25 And he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.
I do not question His reasons for creating eskimoes either. Everything God does is great and for a reason. To be honest, I'd prefer there not to be so many darkies, messicans and terrorists. But there are fields to be tended, lawns to be mowed and sand to be swept. Just like there are seals to be slaughtered by you eskimoes. Everything is the way it is for a reason. When God commands 42 children to be decimated, it is for a good reason. I know when I go to Heaven, God will gather all Christians around Him and regal us with His fantastic stories over time. I'm really looking forward to seeing Mr. Heston.
