    Hola

Hello. My name is Martinez Rosado.

My favorite Biblical verse is Psalm 77:14, as that is the verse that I have come to believe in most strongly. He saved me, and He performs miracles everyday. It shows that He loves us.

I was born and lived in Durango, in a place under control of the Sina cartel in the few years before I left. My father had been killed when the Zetas and Sinas had a shootout near the fields that he worked in. The Sina-Zeta war was only a few km away, 30 at most, so I took my girlfriend, best friend and mother with me to escape. Although not often, smugglers did come by. We took the first one that month and left. Halfway through, a group of Sina gunmen held up the truck. He ordered all of us out, and asked us what we were doing. I had prepared for this by throwing 3 pounds of flour under a tarp in the back. I told him it was a coke shipment. The gunmen were having trouble believing it, and were about to fire until my best friend took the "coke" out, and showed it to them. They bought it and let us on our way. During that time of the holdup, I heard Jesus say "It is not over." I cried once we got into the truck again, and was saying "Praise God, Praise God". Once we got to the Sina coastline, we took a boat to Sur. We ordered everything out, and a year later we left Mexico for America 6 years ago.

I go to Mass every morning to thank Jesus and God for the miracles they perform everyday. I attend FBC in Portland, Oregon. Praise the Lord!

Don't those Zeta and Sina frat boys have anything better to do, like maybe hosting a toga party or putting a horse in the Dean's office?

        Re: Hola

Son, this is a Christian site for Christians.

If you worship Saints and that tramp Mary what are you doing here?

        Around here we worship Jesus.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

        YIC (not Mary).
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

It does show that God loves those who love and obey Him. One day in Heaven we shall laugh at those less fortunate:

Psalms 7:11 - God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry [with the wicked] every day.

I thank God for His miracles every day as well (such as giving cancer to my boss' little daughter - he truly deserved that punishment, and her suffering is just collateral damage).

However, I'm concerned about you going to a "Mass" - don't you know that Catholics are not Christians?!

Darling sister, are you having any luck finding a Christian husband? I know God has a plan for everyone, but you must do your part. "I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4. Let me know, if you need any help.

I don't know about you, but I have my faith, sister Elizabeth. Whatever happens, it will be God's will, and I'm quite sure He has planned for me to marry a God-fearing True Christian(tm) man with a reasonably large real estate (including lake front properties and something in the mountains, in addition to the city penthouse), good job (e.g. something to do with cutting rainforest to get the oil), and an excellent retirement plan.
