Honestly? I am greatly insulted by this entire forum to the point where I would like to cry. Woman do and can go to heaven, and it is disgusting to say that women go straight to hell to be Satan's play things. And to say that it is perfectly fine to treat animals with cruelty, disguss this in a manner that makes it seem like a joke is appalling. God would want us more to accept, accept our neighbours and love them as we love ourselves. General knowledge. But that includes Disney, Warner Bros etc. Just because a few things may send out the wrong message, does not mean we have any right to call them satanic. Correct your child patiently that what the movie is saying wrong and that it may not be true. If you feel you are too lazy to do so, understand that sloth is a deadly sin. We do not judge a person, group of people or a thing as satanic, only if they announce themselves as satanic, for we do not judge one another. The only one who has a right to judge is the Lord our God. [KJV Matthew 7:For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.]

Psalm137:9 Speaks of a psalmist who has been taken prisoner to babylon, and wishes the ill done to Jerusalem to be done to Babylon, as revenge, hence, 'happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones'.

However Jesus states, [Matthe 5:38-39 someone hits you on the right side of your face, let him hit you on the other side also.]

Meaning revenge is something that you should not try and get.

You fail to seem to grasp the significance of Jesus specifying the right side of the face. You see, dear, back then a backhand was used to denote lower status, and to strike someone of the same status on the right cheek would require a backhand strike. Jesus was therefore saying that if someone of your status should slight you with such an insult, turn the other cheek and force them to strike you as an equal.

Jesus was not advocating passive resistance by turning the other cheek. Instead, he was telling you to force that scumbag to acknowledge your equality before stomping a hole in his face.

Now honeybunch, run along and get your daddy's or husband's permission before posting. Not all the menfolk are going to take kindly to your ignorant clucking.

First of all, let me say one thing. From all my life of going to church and being taught on religion not once have I ever been taught that Jesus promoted violence. I have never been taught that Jesus said it is perfectly okay for anybody to to hurt anybody for whatever reason. Nor has he ever said that it be alright to speak to anybody in such a rude manner. For the love of things holy speak not as if you believe you're better than the rest of the world. Because did you see how rude you had just came across to me? I forgive you for that however, but know that I don't tolerate such things twice.

Secondly, I have no husband and I have no father. Don't say anything about my 'lack of discipline' being because of the lack of male figures in my life because I have brothers, if that counts for anything. As for why I have no husband is as kindly as I can put this, quite frankly, none of your business. But when I do get married, I'll be sure I don't marry a man who thinks it's okay to 'discipline' his wife as if I am nothing but a child.

I didn't come here to argue, just to simply put what I believe is true out there. And it would do you both good to return the respect I am doing my best to show to you.

Say, here's an idea: why don't you stop believing what others tell you about the Bible, and actually pick it up and read for yourself?
