  • Greetings frineds in Christ

    Greetings all,

I am honored and privileged to begin my journey in Landover Baptist. Thank you pastor for accepting me.

I have always been a Christian and "saved" ever since I got on my knees and asked Jesus to come into my heart.

And Yet... Ive always felt like the pastors I grew up with and around were too wishy washy and namby pamby. They never called sin "sin" just "being different." They wouldn't even talk about the real bible message, just wishy washy gibberish.

I have been looking for a real Christian church for so long, and Lord be praised I have found one! I look forward to my journey here at Landover Baptist!

Greetings Dewey. I am not yet admitted as a member of this forum but I welcome you anyway. This is a forum of white people who are Baptists but they allow coloured people to participate also. I myself am of another sect but I will forego the mention of it because the white people get mad at me and I am rebuked. I am under rebuke even now for explaining about Jah Ras Tafari to someone just yesterday or the day before.

So that is all I have to say just now except this one thing. Dewey is a common name in Jamaica. Are you a Black man?
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: Extol him that rideth upon the heavens By his name JAH, and rejoice before him.-Psalms 68:4

Hello, dear, and to God's favorite forum!

Please do tell us, which one of the Bible verses do you call your favorite?
God created fossils to test our faith.

        * * *

        My favorite LBC sermons:
        True Christians are Perfect!
        True Christian™ Love.
        Salvation™ made Easy!
You can’t be a Christian if you don’t believe the Old Testament.
Jesus is impolite. Deal with it.
Jesus is xenophobic and so should we.
Sanctity of Life is NOT a Biblical Concept.
        Biblical view on modern-day slavery.
The Immorality of the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights."
Geneva Conventions vs. The Holy Bible.
        God HATES Rational Thinking!
True Christian™ Man as a spitting image of God.

The teachers at the Methodist school in Kingston would hit me with a ruler if I used "your" instead of "you're" in a sentence but I am not so particular. It is true that Jah has a special love for the Black man and he loves some white men too. I myself have met many white people in Babylon who are friendly to the Black man. I have made three friends on this website since I first came here. They are all white people and this proves that I love my fellows even if they are white. The white people in Wisconsin are very friendly to Black people but there are not many here. Are you a student?

Don't you think that's a little bit of a low blow for someone who used to write like this:

Thank you for the Godly support friends.

I know many folks here love a fire and brimstone verse from the Old Testament.

I like those, but ( at the risk of sounding like a sissy!) my favorite verse is the one where Jesus is with the woman at the well the whole "water of life" discourse. I forget it now, but it will come to me..

                Hello Mr Clutter and welcome.

It sounds as though you are thinking of John 4, one of the most heartwarming of stories. Perhaps the specific verses you had in mind were John 4:13-14?

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

You know, I would put that right up there with 2 Kings 2:23-24 as one of my favorites too. I am sure that we are going to be friends.

I made a promise to Sistren Mary Etheldreda that I would observe all the rules the Methodists taught me and to be sure to use the Kings English properly as the Methodists taught. Also I am to use good composition. This is somewhat difficult for me because I have to stop and think about everything I want to say. It is like translating a foreign language. Even now I am under rebuke for not being clear enough in my writing. I have also promised not to discuss my study of white girls at the University of Wisconsin except in the most innocent way and I am to keep my love of Jah Ras Tafari to myself unless necessary.

So yes Sistren I and I mon Rastafari but I will keep it to myself. MY faith is for the Black man and does not need advertising.

Mister I, dear, as you already know we are pretty relaxed about language here, but I feel it my duty as a Christian to point out that there is only one of Sister Mary Etheldreda, whereas Sistren suggests that she is plural. This seems somehow disrespectful, and we all know you wouldn't want that.

Here is the rule: one Brother, two or more Brethren: one Sister, two or more Sistren.

You know, though, that it's for your own good. We have your interests at heart, and want you to do well at the University of Wisconsin. Proverbs 10:17 - He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.

It is just lovely to see your progress towards Salvation. Congratulations on being such a relatively quick learner.

Welcome young Lady. Praise Jesus for leading you to us.
We have had quite a few Albino Niggeros here of late.
I am truly excited that you are excited to be here at this exciting forum. God is exciting. Thats what makes everything so Glorious here.
I hear what you are saying about the Namby Pamby Pastors. I didn't have that problem, I found Jesus in Jail. My "Teacher" beat me senseless with a Bible (reinforced) and while I was recovering in the prison hospital infirmary I had a vision. When I awoke I was Truly Saved™
In my vision Jesus said to me:
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. Isaiah 45:22
And with that I recovered. Then God spoke to me in another vision and commanded to me that I send Him the man that led me to Him. That this man of God would be accepted into the Kingdom of Heaven for his good faith. So I did. And from that day forward, God made me His Thumper for Christ, and the entire prison, flesh by flesh, kneeled before me and gave thanks for Jesus Christ our saviour, and gave me their rations so as that I could be strong. Some were reluctant but with Gods strength I showed them the darkness that would lead to the light.

But enough about me, tell us more about your pigmentation issues.

                      Praise Jesus
                      Brother BAW

Welcome, Dewey. Your introduction is somewhat less sparse than many of those we have received of late. Still, your story lacks body. Tell us of your path to salvation. How were you saved? Who is your Pastor? Do you live in a gated community? What revolver do you favor? Do you know President Bill Clinton and his wife, the old lady who wants to be President?

                        God Bless!

Why about the same as anyone else I suppose. I hate to admit it, but I was sort of a wild child growing up. I danced, smoked, played cards, played billiards and drank the devil's hooch!

Like so many Christians out there, I thought I could get to heave merely by being a "good person." Pffffhhh PLEASE!!

When I was say 16 or so, my pastor, ( A godly man by the name of Leroy Templeton) took me aside and told me what was what. He put it to me as simple as he could. Repent and accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, or roast in hell for eternity. My choice was easy.

Ever since then my life has been on the up and up. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

Gated community? If only I had that kind of money.

Yes I am aware of Billy Jeff Clinton and his feminist hag of a wife. Even as governor/first lady of AK, he was an arrogant whore monger, and she a self-righteous witch who acted like a man.

I certainly hope she goes to prison instead of president, but Ive been dissapointed before.

Brother, we all hope that old woman goes to prison where she belongs. I too fear that the large amount of monies accumulated by the Clinton crime family will allow her to bribe her way to freedom. We pray she will be unable to purchase the Presidency. Her husband, President Bill Clinton seems a friendly fellow, though he is a known Devil worshipping Democrat, but he clearly does not deliver a beating when one is called for. Christians should rise up and demand that this old woman's husband deliver the beating she so richly deserves.

I have been informed that it is in fact she? her? It, that deals out the blows in their house. Which explains a lot really.
