Greetings Auston. These Baptists are very forgiving people in the same way that Jah is forgiving. Once you demonstrate true repentance they will probably accept you. Until then they may be a little suspicious of your motives. They may question you closely. In time they may grow to love you as they have come to love me. They do not want me to go to Hell and they think I probably will so they often try to guide me to their type of Christianity which is the Baptist religion. But I am Rastafari.Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: Extol him that rideth upon the heavens By his name JAH, and rejoice before him.-Psalms 68:4

Besides punctuation and grammar, I'd suggest adding what changed your mind. What compelled you to look at your sorry, sinful life and see how Jesus Himself sees you, the sinner (Isaiah 64:6)? What sparked that desire to change, to stop frustrating God, to embrace your duty (Ecclesiastes 12:13)?Originally posted by Reaper42 View Postill ad anything you want that I left out.Hello, my name is Mary. Basically everybody talking about hell. I found it pretty scary and decided it wasn't a place I wanted to go. Plus I thought about how my life might be if I had somebody to follow. You know like somebody to talk to as I don't have anybody to talk to. Maybe God or Jesus would talk to me right? That's why I want to change I don't want to be labeled as a wicked person I don't want to be hated by God. I don't know why but my heart felt funny when I changed my mind for some reason.Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. I see that you are actually a Black man like me but you are from France. I am from the island of Jamaica which is in America but not part of Babylon. I am a Christian of the Rastafari but I will not say too much about my beliefs so as to avoid rebuke. I will just say that I am possessed of facts that lead me to the conclusion that Jah Ras Tafari who is the Lion of Judah and a Black man is the living God. Soon the Black man will return to Africa in triumph from his exile in Babylon. I hope you and all Black men in America and France will join us.

Praise Jesus! I prayed for you, and Jesus decided to have mercy on your soul. You know it was Him who gave you false things to believe in, right?Originally posted by Reaper42 View PostMy name is Auston. I haven't gone to church in a long long time. After you've done what all the others have advised you to do, why don't you tell use what church you go to, what your favorite KJV (the only True Version™) Bible verse, and how you came to find Jesus.Proverbs 3:5

I haven't read all of the Bible but I will start reading it. I don't have a favorite Bible verse as I cant remember any from the Bible. But I will change that. Goodness, if you were being genuine about Salvation, I imagine you'd be scouring the pavement to look for a Bible Believing Church to fellowship with Right Away! Why are you slacking? How can you not have buried your nose in the Good Book already? Are you serious about knowing God? Why wait?Originally posted by Reaper42 View PostI haven't read all of the Bible but I will start reading it. I don't have a favorite Bible verse as I cant remember any from the Bible. Re: Reaper messed up, wants a do-over
Sorry for not being here for a long time. So Church was awesome! Everyone there was nice, and kind and, I have gone there for a good while now. I have learned a LOT there that I didn't know. I also started reading the Bible too. I haven't gotten very far yet, with all my homework and school and helping my parents with chores. But I have been putting as much time as possible to read the Bible. I also feel pretty good now that I am starting to change.Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. Re: Reaper messed up, wants a do-over
Howdy there Mr.Auston! I'm glad to see that you are turning from your wicked lifestyle, and trying to follow our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."Originally posted by Reaper42 View PostMy name is Auston. The first thing you need to do is repent your sins, and accept Christ into your heart. Here is some inspiring scripture about repentance, and forgiveness.
1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"
Ezekiel 18:21-23 "But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die."
Proverbs 28:13 "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy."
After you've repented your sins, and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord, and Savior you should read the entire KJV 1611 Bible.
Luke 4:4 "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."
2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
I truly hope you will be able to follow the narrow path to Jesus, and attain salvation.
Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."Leviticus 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
