  • Greetings, from a pathetic whiner with poor reading comprehension

    Hi ,

I posted a while ago, and was given an infraction. Probably fair enough, you have your rules, so let me follow them

My name is KickAssAndGiggle. I don't attend church. The Bible is a comic, Jesus was just a dude who was persecuted, like 1,000,000s of others.

I *think* my sin last time was to say how I admire your position on spousal correction. I may not share your faith but I sure damn do share your opinion there.

I may well be prepared to convert to your superb religion. Is it OK to just pay lip-service to the twaddle about God/Jesus etc but use it as a crutch to beat my wife?

Oh dear. Please do try and conduct yourself with the respect befitting of your betters (Hebrews 13:17), and you will be welcome.

Um, no. He was more than "just persecuted." He offered Himself as a temporary sacrifice to ransom mankind for an impossible debt incurred by virtue of having been created sinful, and therefore offensive to Himself (1 Timothy 2:6).

If you do not share our faith, then your opinion is one created in sociopathy and cruelty, for there is no reason for correction other than to establish dominance at home. The Holy Bible is very clear on the fact that dominance belongs to the Jesus (1 Corinthians 11:3), not any Tom, Dick, or Harry who claims it.

    No.

It is, on the other hand, okay to read the Holy Bible, and be converted by the Power of the Living Word! Why don't you consider letting Jesus into your heart? Today is a great day for Redemption!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

      Wow, thanks!!!

      Corinthians 11:3.

I shall quote this to my wife tonight (well, assuming she's conscious! LOL!).

Any other top tips for me?

Ah, I should be super clear that I have read the Bible, cover to cover, once.

An interesting book for sure. Definitely not full of contradictions.

But obviously a single reading does not allow one to know all the juicy verses to make my wife cower in fear! So help me, fellow beaters!

Bullshit. Read it or they will show you to be a fool.

66 books in the KJV, read two a day, should take about an hour average (some are really short), you'll be done in little more than a month. You'll know the Bible better than most Christians (because they haven't read it), and you'll be able to discuss these matters from a state of knowledge, and not your present ignorance.

These people are willing to help you understand what you're reading. Or you'll be gone (and not missed) in a day or two. Your choice.

You think this is funny? I guarantee that if you keep yucking it up and making snide comments about the Book that I've.devoted my life to educating people about you'll be.shown the door.

Despite your obvious preconception, we aren't stupid, and we see sarcastic Jesus-haters like you day in and day out.

I don't understand, I thought the unsaved were welcome? Only due to your site's banner.

If that is not the case, just say so, and I will leave. No worries. But I dearly would love to know how I can beat my wife for any reason I choose with justification, and it seems you guys have the answer. If said answer is seriously "gotta accept the nonsense too" then so be it, I'll be a sad panda, but no need for the aggression: I've shown none.

I believe I know what is the problem with this one, Mr. Didymus.

It hasn't read the Bible because it doesn't know how to read.

Sweetie, if reading the entire Bible is too much to ask, then try reading the Proverbs and Paul's epistles. You'll find there the answers you seek.

God created fossils to test our faith.

All very amusing, but where is the advice? I'm just looking for some good scriptures to hurl at her when I break her nose. Is that too much to ask?

Seems the Christian thing to do would be to assist me in my hour of need...

Here is another one who has read the Bible "cover to cover". Why do the godless liars who come here with their blasphemies always use that expression? This person has likely not read the first page of God's word, let alone the whole of the scriptures.

I bet that when you read the Bible "cover to cover" you payed the same strict attention to the 600+ instructions Jesus gave you.
