A Modest Member

Greetings Landover,

My name is Martha and I live in Ohio. I attend a small, Baptist church in a rural area of the state. I grew up in large, God fearing family. I was the only daughter out of eleven children. My husband (whom I wed at the age of 16), Aaron, found this site and permitted this to be one of the few sites I am allowed to use on our computer. Aaron and I have eight (soon to be nine!) children. Three sons: Samuel, Joachim, and Benjamin. And five daughters: Veronica, Elizabeth, Ruth, Sarah and Mary-Anne. I am praying heavily that our ninth child will be a boy. My favorite verses are:


1 John 2:16 - For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 Peter 3:3 - Whose adorning let it not be that outward [adorning] of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel


These verses remind me of how important it is to dress modestly and not like a damned harlot. I read these verses to my daughters daily to remind them of how the Lord expects us women to dress and present ourselves.

Greetings Martha. I welcome you to this website in my capacity as a nonmember but one who is well tolerated by white people in spite of my being a Black man. This is a web site for Baptists who are white people but they are very open minded and willing to accept participants of any type if they behave themselves. I see that you live in Ohio which I believe is a state in Babylon. I am uncertain as to exactly where that is but I will look at my map later and determine your location. I myself am from the island of Jamaica and I have come to Babylon for education. I am certain that the white people here will welcome you.
