Hello,I am a Christian myself and I have given my heart to Jesus. But I noticed you are a little rude to atheists and people who arne't christians and unwelcoming them, you also label them as "Trash" and stuff like that. I know you believe that unsaved people are "Trash" but that doens't give you the right to go around calling people that, Jesus welcomes people. Your banner says "Unsaved unwelcomed" Unsaved should be welcome here to help save them, your not going to get anywhere by kicking out unsaved people. Love your neighbors as you love yourself. Apparently you guys forgot what that verse means, turn your other cheek if someone hits you and carry double the load. Why are you so rude to people who aren't Christians? Its not going to get you anywhere.

We've already covered this in the thread that you were supposed to read before posting.

That's not exactly how Jesus told us to evangelize. He told us to go into all the world to preach:

Mark 16:15 KJV: 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

That is, we are to preach to them out there. Please also see this.

Yes. We take our cues from Jesus who called different people dogs (Matthew 7:6, 2 Peter 2:20-22), swine (Matthew 7:6), vipers (Matthew 3:7, 12:34, 23:33, Luke 3:7), perverse (Matthew 17:17) and many other names - you can read all about them here.

Of course He does. He welcomes those who love Him and praise Him. Everybody else is doomed for eternal damnation:

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

First, we need to define who are our neighbors.

We accept all of the persecution which comes from the unbelievers with humility.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Why are you so rude to people who aren't Christians? Its not going to get you anywhere.

Why was Jesus so rude to people who didn't follow Him?

Or in some cases, to people who did believe in Him but He didn't want them to bug Him for whatever reason?

For example:

Matthew 15:22-26
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

(Later He does heal the girl, but the woman has to publicly humiliate herself by admitting that she is akin to a dog).

Your gall is hard to fathom. We are a Bible based church. We follow the word of God exactly. If you are one who seeks salvation, why don't you follow the simple directions and tell us a little about yourself. We will assist you and guide you to the light, even though your first act here has been to attack and defile us. If you are a false, fluffy Christian, then be gone and prepare for Hell. You won't like it there; it's too hot.

There can be a fine line between rude and uncompromising. We here at Landover Baptist do not compromise on reading, obeying and proclaiming the unabridged Truth™ of the entire Bible.


Many, many people come to this forum to express their disapproval and even disgust at some of the positions which we espouse. None of the Biblical perspectives that we present are pulled out from the lower end of our digestive tracts.


It all comes from the Holy Bible, a book that has been offering moral guidance and foundational information about the world for thousands of years. Our understanding of the universe, our place in the universe, and most importantly, the God who created the universe all stem from the pages of that sacred text which has been handed down for generations.


Do you disagree with the Bible? Do you take exception to many of its commands? Then you are not in true obedience to the God whom you claim to worship.


I hope that what I have written here doesn't come across as rude, but in the end, I have to be true to my convictions. Do you have the courage of your convictions, JordanFireStar?
