Hello Philly,

Welcome to the forum. Perhaps you would like to explain your theory a bit further: The worms are crimson coloured because of their mother dying on a piece of wood. For some reason this makes you draw a parallel between Jesus, the worms/maggots and the now deceased critter, disintegrating like a piece of wax. Wouldn´t that make Jesus the mother and the worms those who used Him? Are you stating Jesus was a female? And what should we make of the crimson worms feeding of her? Please explain.

Just like any depiction of Jesus that is not Jesus himself, there will be places where it isn't quite perfect, I could give you 100 way 100 different things can relate to Jesus but the fact is none of them will be able to completely correlate with all Jesus said and did.

Obviously Jesus the son of God was not a female. And as far as the worms feeding on the mother it is the same as Christians feeding on the word of God, going back to scripture we see in Matt. 4:4 that we don't just live on physical food but on the Word of God, Jesus is the word John 1 therefore we also live on the feeding of Jesus Christ also in Luke 22:19 I believe is where Christ says for them to take the bread which was a symbol of his body

I don't be mean to be haughty I was just giving a defense of why I like that particular verse, I am not a highly educated man and most of what I have learned of the Bible has come from searching in scripture and praying God open my eyes to His truth, the only truth. I simply enjoy studying the word of God and when I find cool new things that are generally missed like this particular worm I enjoy sharing them with other Christians.

I feel a little righteous indignationism about your missive. Are you insinuating that I was being haughty? By pointing out that you had no intendations of being haughty, it conversely represents the maximization of the Staught Theory, which in no uncertain term illustrates the point I am trying my best to explain to a common unlearned personage.

As Staught said, "Three or five times does not make the incredible credible, for the person is not haughty and neither should he be, for he is of the dust from which GOD created all things, some of which was dry and some of which was undry. It is not for man to know that percentage until man speaks with the Creator, on whom all science is founded." (1802)

I don't wish to discourage your haughty little behind. We are all friendly and welcoming here, full of the Holy Ghost and all of the spiritual gifts (Romans 12:6-8) (1 Corinthians 12:4-11) (1 Corinthians 12:28). This makes it a unique opportunity for the sinner to find a true pathway to Heaven.

However, I recommend that you get your butt in a pew this week. (Hebrews 10:25)

Oh I am not worried about being a worm this is my favorite because it is a beautiful depiction of Christ.

How lovely! I see you've taken this fantastically beautiful analogy from the Alpha Omega Institute, which to the best of my knowledge, has not yet been fully vetted by the Department of Faith and so cannot be guaranteed like our own church. As this worm (a scale really, a major pest of coffee beans and a favorite of parasatoid wasps, predatory beetles, flies, and true bugs) was also used in Jewish ceremonies, I'm a little cautious about your affections towards it. Nevertheless, you affirm your gratitude for Christ, and so with that assurance, I feel better. Please do mind your manner while you are here. No one likes a haughty guest.

Well seeing that everyone is attacking me for being haughty which I never intended and I did apologize for seeming that way but if I truly was then you should correct me in love not by lashing out at me I was on the fence about your beliefs but seeing this display of hatefulness I will find a group of true followers of Jesus Christ because obviously this is not that group and I'm sure everyone will probably tell me I'm destined for hell now because I don't agree with you sheep following wolves but that's okay because it doesn't matter what you say about me because you are not the determining factor for my salvation my relationship with Jesus Christ son of the one and only God is

I just said that your crimson worm analogy would have been better if the crimson worm was male, died only for 1 and a 1/2 day, and then lived for eternity.

Brother, May I humbly ask you how anyone here has attacked you? We have presented our loving rebukes in hopes that you would pray for the Lord to help you change. The fundamentals that we practice here are quite simple:


1. If it's in the Bible, we believe it and we DO IT.


You are absolutely correct that God makes the decision about your salvation. The Holy Bible tells us how that happens, friend. All we do here at Landover is to point you toward those requirements.


Your haughtiness is being seen by the Lord, brother. This makes the Baby Jesus cry. Will you continue to spit in His Face? We love you and will continue to pray for you and your attitude. In the meantime, why not spend some time in prayer with the Word of God?

Hi there Pete, your description of that worm's life cycle was fascinating. But I do hope you don't spend too much time playing with worms and tadpoles and whatnot. Girls are liable to think you're creepy if you do that, and we don't want anything getting in the way of you finding a bride and siring some babies for Christ!

Do not feel stressed, Phil. Also, please refrain from allowing your stress to turn to anger. Sometimes, our vetting can seem a bit rude, but we do not mean it to be so. We are under constant attack from false Christians who come here to attack and revile us. Most come pretending to be of the body of the faithful and then turn on us when we show our customary kindness. God told us it would be this way (2Timothy 3:12), but that doesn't make it any more pleasant.

Also, one of those who is acting in the harshest manner is a vile atheist who haunts this site to vex Christians and try to make us doubt our faith. He will test your resolve, Phil, as he tests ours. This testing ought to make you stronger in your faith, as it does ours.

The atheist that Alvin Moss speaks of is probably one of the sanest people on these forums. (Didymus) Might I suggest you dialogue with him rather than trying to kick against the pricks - which is a line from their New Testament (a series of "books" telling a false story about the life of Jesus Christ).
I would encourage you to hold fast to your faith in G_d. When the true Messiah is revealed, the Lord will reward your dedication to Him. The truth is never easy to obtain, but it is a most important goal.
You are always welcome in the world of Judaism, where we await our Meshiach with eagerness and love.
