I came to know Christ at 15. I was raised in the church from the time I was born. I am a non denominational Christian, but use to be baptist. I attend a large church here near me, when I go.
I am a Christian man who believes that God placed women on earth to fulfill certain roles. Yes, I believe in spanking naughty misbehaving wives, but they should NEVER be treated a dogs, or his prayers will be hindered. 1 Peter 3:7. They do have a right to vote, read, write, and even serve in church as long as they DO NOT teach over a man. 1 Timothy 2:11-14.
I believe that the husband is to lead his family with wisdom and temperance, loving, never overbearing and always fair, even in punishment of his children and wife. She is be respectful, obedient, and submissive. 1 Peter 3:1-6. Yet, though she maybe less in strength and position and she is to be treated as Christ treats the church even in dying for her as Christ gave his life for the church, Ephesians 5:25. She should obedient and submissive, and should NEVER deny her husband sex in anyway he wishes, unless it is abusive, and unless the both of you have come to an agreement to take time off and use the time off to worship and learn of God. Then you should come back for sexual union so that the devil will not get a foothold in your life and marriage because of your lack of self control, 1 Corinthians 7:5.
Finally, Though I DO believe that the woman is to be respectful, submissive and obedient to her man, as well as spanked and punished with temperance and wisdom, you have not, in everything I have read, given scripture as to supporting your belief that the wife is to be spanked and punished. Where is your scripture to back it up. I am not talking about verses about her obedience, that is well documented. But where is it about punishing and spanking. And you can use Proverbs, that is talking about children. Find it and share it if you truly wish to shut the mouths of the naysayers and doubters.
