Rape is never specifically condemned anywhere in the Bible. It is carefully regulated, so that a father's economic interests vis a vis his daughter can be protected. Furthermore, a husband's economic interests in regards to the legitimacy of his future offspring (to whom he will pass on his property) are also protected by God's Holy Word.


It all comes down to economics and property rights, and the Bible makes it abundantly clear that women are, indeed, property.


If this offends you, that is unfortunate. However, going against Almighty God's Laws and Pronouncements incurs some very serious penalties that a thoughtful person might wish to avoid suffering.


Offending you, on the other hand,doesn't seem as though it will result in any unpleasant consequences whatsoever.

Nope. You should read the Bible to understand what God is really about. The gentle people on this forum even took the effort to make a sub-forum to help you read and understand the Bible. Use it to your advantage.

Unfortunately, dear Sister, kids these days are seemingly incapable of engaging in a civilized discussion, which would require them to 1) answer posed questions and 2) defend their opinions with actual arguments. Being unable to do so, they just express their feelings in a clumsy, chaotic manner.

The only hope is that maybe it's just a phase and they'll grow up eventually?...

But with the impending Rapture, that may happen too late.
