Re: Hello, fellow Christians
Hello Basilissa, to answer your first question my favourite bible verse is John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness". And to answer your second question, I meant to type "thread" not "threat".

Re: Hello, fellow Christians
Hello Mr. Rhodes, and welcome! Tell us about your Walk with Christ!Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

A cautious welcome to you, young man. Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
But here is the rub: it's not unknown that the atheist will come to our humble aboad with thoughts of nothing more than mocking and riding roughshod over our most cherished beliefs.
I like your verse. It makes my heart swell every time a youth confesses his sins against the Lord Himself Jesus Christ
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
What turned your head towards Christ?
YIC1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Re: Hello, fellow Christians
Well, I was born in Britain to two american parents, sadly I was the only christian in a atheist house. But, I did manage to show my parents and younger brother the light of God and saved them from Satan's evil, which I think is one of my best achievements. The church I go to is called "Bradford on Avon Baptist Church".

How wonderful that you were able to bring the light of Jesus' love for ALL who would follow Him to your family!Originally posted by JoshuaRhodes View PostWell, I was born in Britain to two american parents, sadly I was the only christian in a atheist house. Matthew 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost
Were you able to go Full Baptism? I hope so! It's so important that every Christian spreads and the Good News to the unSaved that Jesus died for all of our sins!
People who don't know Jesus can't accept His sacrifice and be spared from Hell
Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Did your family confess and cast of the cloak of atheisticallity?

Re: Hello, fellow Christians
Yes my family did confess their sins to Christ and cast away the sinful cloak that is atheism. It sickens me how people can just turn their backs on Christ and God, just because some scientists said he doesn't exist.

Hi Josh! It is always nice to meet a fellow believer. Scientists can be a bit wired but more and more are turning way from evolution and deep time and finding out that the evidence is pointing more and more to intelligent design.Originally posted by JoshuaRhodes View PostYes my family did confess their sins to Christ and cast away the sinful cloak that is atheism. Hello Josh,
Welcome to the forum. I hope you are well and that God has shone His Light on your face. I see you are from Bradford? Tell us all how it feels to live under Sharia law. Have you been persecuted by the mooselimb hordes that infest your city? Have they tried to make you renounce the One True God and worship Allan?
I do hope you are being truthful with us because I really would not like you to make God unhappy in any way.
Exodus 32:22
“And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.”

TTIsaiah 66:15
For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Re: Hello, fellow Christians
Hello Thomas, to answer your question about how it is to live under Sharia law, it's horrible. I have had a group of Muslims come up to me and threaten me with violence if I didn't renounce God, as well as that my Mother was nearly attacked because of our worship of God.

Re: Hello, fellow Christians
I feel your pain, dear. Occasionally I visit the first American city which declared Sharia law, Dearborn (Michigan), and I feel like I'm nearly attacked every single time, when these people look at me, and when they don't look at me, and when they talk to each other, and when they do something on their phones, and when they pick vegetables at the market, and when they just walk past me with their kids.Originally posted by JoshuaRhodes View Postmy Mother was nearly attacked because of our worship of God.
It's truly terrible that we allow these people to keep their clothing and language when they just all should wear shorts and a few sizes too small T-shirts and let the whole world see the rings of fat flapping around their bellies to prove that they are real Americans.God created fossils to test our faith.

Re: Hello, fellow Christians
Welcome, Mr. Joshua Rhodes. It is always a pleasure to meet a good Christian man, come among us for fellowship and praise. I am concerned to hear that you are forced to live among the godless English and their Musselman overlords. I pray for your safety as you tread the path between their bombs and mosques.
As your parents are Americans, you qualify for the honor of citizenship here in America. I urge you to decamp immediately and come home. I pray that you have not become accustomed to toad in the hole and bubble and squeak, as those foods are not available in America. Nor is it possible to obtain a haggis in America and we are four square against curry, which we understand is now the national food of England, that and the peas.
Providentially, you already speak a primitive version of American and we can bring you up to date in no time at all. What do you think? Will you need assistance with your travel expenses?God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

Re: Hello, fellow Christians
Hello Alvin, I have always wanted to leave Britain and go to America, but I couldn't as my family couldn't afford it. But, last year I started to save money and it should be enough to cover all expenses. So, fairly soon I should be able to leave Britain and go to America, leaving behind all this "Allah" nonsense.

Re: Hello, fellow Christians
Welcome, Miss Roads:
Are you named for Joshua as featured in the song by Dolly Parton?
I am sure you have never had a communication sent to you from deepest Rio de Janeiro before. I am here communicating the love of my Savior and His message of Salvation(R). My aim has been primarily the man with unnatural affection, guilty of the sin that dares not speak its name. I have had so many men come while my friends and I were on their knees. I can't begin to count the numbers of new names written down in glory and added to my Consumer Cellular telephone. Christ continues to bless, but alas, my mission will soon be ending as I am a PhD student and must continue my studies.
I will add you to my electronic prayer list and I look forward to learning more of you and your journey toward Salvation(R).
As the Brazilian messicans say to me all the time:
Fode-te, cona! (Go peacefully, friend)
BrotherLarryProverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”
Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.Amen and Amen
