If you have accepted the truth, that the Lord God has created the Earth and the firmaments and all there is and that His son, Jesus, has come to bring a chance of salvation and you have accepted Him into your heart as your personal savior, then this conversion you speak of has already occurred. If not, then it hasn't and will not until such time as you accept these facts.
If you have accepted Jesus, the next step is to read the rule book, which we call the Holy Bible. It is God's inerrant word. Take care to avoid false translations. Only the King James Version is the reliable and true version.

Re: Help Converting
The first question would be how do you see yourself as a Christian? What would you do differently if you accepted Christ inside of you?Originally posted by Seeking God View PostHello, I'm new to this site and I have an issue. YIC1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Re: Help Converting
Hello Seeking,
I have a couple of tips for you:
Never sit down with a light bulb in your back pocket
On a more serious note, find a Bible (KJV 1611) and read it. Let it be the guiding doctrine by which you live your life.
Let Jesus enter you and fill you with His huge Love.
By the way, welcome to the forums.
YIC
TTIsaiah 66:15
For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

. Welcome to the forum. Although I was never an atheist before I did encounter some terrible things. People would get intoxicated and leap around like hairy goats for hours. They would advance all sorts of insane ideas impossible for any rational person. It is certain that some of these were atheists.
As a result I appreciate the way they do things and one thing is to get people to blashpeme against The Holy Ghost at an early stage so that they can never receive Salvation.
MATTHEW 12 . KJV . look up
31 [Jesus speaking] All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
If you were sent to an atheist school or even home-schooled so that you should never encounter The Truth the possibility becomes higher. Many little tricks would be employed or routines set up just for the single purpose of ensuring that you could never be forgiven. I hope that you have escaped this ploy but think about it a little and do not hesitate to contact the Pastoral team, or the deaconess if appropriate, regarding any uncertainty.
It's always lovely when a new soul is harvested for Jesus!

I'm sorry to say that this may be nothing more than a typical atheistical so called 'driven by' post.

Re: Help Converting
It's possible. On the other hand post #1 is actually in the intro. forum and that's always a good sign. Compared with nutters turning up to display their ignorance in threads they obviously have never read. I blame these generic text2speech de-educators which from the spelling mistakes seem to get used when the parrot's fallen off the shoulder. Probably from fumes. It's a shame really, parrots tend to be witty..Originally posted by Dr Laurence Niles View PostI'm sorry to say that this may be nothing more than a typical atheistical so called 'driven by' post.

So I'm more than happy to extend the hand of friendship towards anyone who can read.
