god wants us to be like him. welcoming sinners into our homes and teaching them the ways of christ.
i am a christian. i live in texas and im curious on why you think like this when god wants us to be forgiving and accepting?

Do you call that an introduction? Read what it says above. This is where you introduce yourself. It doesn't say, "This is where you ask a bunch of questions about a privately run site that GOD blesses daily." What is your church affiliation? What is your favorite Bible verse? How did you come to the realization that our Loving Savior would fill the Loving Savior shaped hole in your soul?


You do your part and we'll do ours. But the answers are quite simple. You first.

Indeed.

God is fierce:

Psalm 78:49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

Isaiah 13:9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

God is jealous and vindictive:

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Ezekiel 25:14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord God.

Micah 5:15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, Such as they have not heard.

Nahum 1: 2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth;
The Lord revengeth, and is furious;
The Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries,
And he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

I don't know what "god" you speak of, but the God of the Holy Bible is not some kind of free-love-for-all hippie, dear!

Unsaved, Sister B explained that we are all about the Bible here. Thus, when the wrath of God is all around us we have no choices.

Basically, we are here to give Christian instruction to people. We are not here to be instructed. Those who have not walked with Jesus like those of us at Landover Baptist need to learn from us.

We hope you continue on here and become a better Christian.

We are supposed to love, cherish and welcome our brothers and sisters and neighbors.

I love my brethren and sisteren at Landover, but you are unsaved and unwelcome, as you are none of the above.

Addressing you as Unsaved seems wrong, because you said you are a Christian.


But if I use your initials, UAW, that makes me think of a certain labor union. I hate labor unions!

There seems to be some confusion here between "Unsaved are Unwelcome" and tolerance. We know from Holy Scripture that Jesus showed mercy, but He too had his limits.

We recognize that the Holy Spirit drives newcomers here to our Blessed on-line forums and ministery, after all nothing happens in this world without God's knowledge. We are here to praise Jesus, and we pray others will see the Light - which brings us to "tolerance".

We constantly get a wide array of new people signing up here - everything from the Saved® who wish to share our praises of Jesus to trolls, Irish atheists looking for a fight, Big Government Democrats, communists advocating the killing of white people, rude agnostic millenials and hipsters looking for abortions, Starbucks coffee shops, and seeking to insult us, Jews looking for a way to sue us to make some money, nigras looking for EBT cards and free ObamaPhones, whores and prostitutes promoting clever ways for men to avoid spilling their seed, perverts, and other assorted obnoxious, intolerant, boring, witless, tedious and tiresome unsaved types.

As long as you behave yourself, abide by our rules, display repentance without complaint to corrections given by our moderators, are tolerant, respectful, and avoid abusive language, insults, and foul invective you will be tolerated here - until Jesus decides you have to go.
