One thing I've noticed that all the True Christians™ share is the ability to read basic English and follow simple instructions.

"Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus" is clearly stated at the top of every page on this subforum.

Hello Tony, and welcome to our forums! How exciting to have begun an intimate relationship with the LORD! Oh my heavens, if I could go back in time and experience again that feeling of first falling head-over-heals in love with Christ, I would live in that moment for Eternity! I believe this is what Heaven will be like - a never ending feeling of ecstasy! A feeling that drowns out all other emotions, emotions like loneliness or sadness or insecurity or loss of loved ones who are writhing in Hell at that very moment. These feelings will be pushed aside and that moment of falling in love, deeply, irrevocably, irretrievably, will never cease! I cannot WAIT to be His Bride in Heaven! Tell us Tony, can you WAIT to be His Bride in Heaven?!?

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

        Hi Tony,

I'm Mason. Apologies for Didymus-- you know how atheists are, pedantic and abusive and pit-bound.

Personally, I'm especially curious about how you've come to Jesus Christ. I found Jesus during a period of hardship, and He led me out of the dark.

I hope you're staying well away from any bad influences during this early period of your Christianity. You can't learn to love Jesus by being exposed to alternate "viewpoints". Even many so-called Christians misrepresent Jesus's teachings.
Acts 13:8 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

Thank for the warm welcome. I have gone through so may dark times in my life recently which eventually led me to rediscover my faith with the Lord. I realized that life is incomplete with without him.

Wonderful! Would you care to share any verses from the Bible that you've found particularly powerful or beautiful? Where are you attending church?

Very good choice indeed, especially if you read tn in context of the next Psalm, which talks about the destruction of Babylon:

                  Psalm 137:9
Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

That teaches us that not only God's love, but also His hate endure forever.

                  Praise !

Wow, see, this was what I was looking for! You did not disappoint! Thank you for such a riveting testimony! I read this to my cousin over the phone and she broke down into tears and confessed to Jesus right there on the spot! It was beautiful, and your testimony is beautiful! I don't know why CBN hasn't scooped up the rights to your story and made a beautiful, inspiring movie out of it! Think of the many thousands, nay, millions of souls that could be saved by hearing this testimony! His steadfast love most certainly does endure forever! If only the people could hear this, if only they could be touched like you are touched, they would know, and they would believe!

                    Glory!

I am quite humbled by your testimony, my new friend. As I read it, I could just picture myself there (where was it again?), watching each glorious and highly spiritual moment as it unfolded (what unfolded again?). Suddenly my joy bells began to ring and I am certain they were heard all over the world (except ungodly Russia and parts of darkest Peru).

The way you painstakingly described how you found our Savior will likely be published in Christianity Today or made into a 3-color gospel tract. Can you imagine the revival that will occur when that happens?

Pastor Ezekiel, won't you ask our friend to go on a mission with you? Your sermons are, like, ok, but wow - if you had this guy with you, especially if you let him be the headliner, millions will be brought to the Lord. The Tony and Zeke Tour - coming soon! Please consider it.

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.

Well, welcome! I imagine you're here to share your love of Jesus Christ and to examine if the teachings of your own church are in compliance with His word? That's wonderful.

Hello and welcome Vortex. That's a verse I like as well. Now please tell me why it is your favorite verse. Also please tell me about the dark times you have been through as I would also like to know what you have been through. It would appear you have told everyone else apart from me. I too have had dark times recently and it was thanks to the help and support of God and the wonderful forum members, especially Brother Larry, that I was able to pull through and keep my head held high.

This verse in particular helped me pull through:
                          Philippians 4:13

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

It constantly told me that through Christ I could do anything to make me stronger.

I do hope to hear from you soon

Welcome Anthony! I spend a fair amount of time in Vegas, aka 'Sin City' when I do a lot of laying of hands and give oral testimony. I have a suite over at the Bellagio and am there most Fridays and Saturdays, often with my extended family showing them the depravity and what not to do. You should stop by on a weekend and have the desk call me. I would be more than happy to share Gods Thick Love(r) with you and cover you with His joy. Tell me, is your skin unblemished?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
