Dear Person,

I initially thought that you were only a teenage Troll just posting outrageous images to make you feel superior. I am delighted that I was wrong and that you seem to be a genuine person seeking discussion about Jesus. It is rare to see an atheist who is capable of producing calm and coherent sentences. Obviously, you lack the education and vast knowledge that our friend Mr. Much unfortunately has, which makes him such a dangerous opponent.

Now, on to your questions. You are one of those who require proof of the Bible's validity. Obviously, we don't need that, as Jesus has personally touched our lives, but for the aspiring sinner, such as you, it may of benefit to show some extrinsic proof as follows:

1. Eyewitness testimony. There are the words of those people who actually lived and witnessed the events during Biblical times. Furthermore, lots of archaeological evidence supports the Bible. For instance, there are descriptions of cities that have been confirmed with archaeology. See also Genesis 10:11.
2. There is the testimony of us True Christians™. Our lives have been changed and these wonderful, awesome changes are consistent with Scripture! See also Luke 1:47.
3. Look at the prophecies in the Bible. Many have been fulfilled! Daniel Chapter 2 predicted the Roman empire and much more. For reference, see Daniel 2:34.
4. There is a unique and miraculously consistent nature of manuscripts of the Bible during a time when there was only illiteracy, unreliable greedy scribes and slow methods of communication. See also Psalms 12:6.
5. There is a prerequisite of God for secular logic and science. In science, the concept of evolution embraced by atheists, Catholics and other false Christians gives absolutely no possibility of a mind that could be trusted at all. How could quantum fluctuations in the alleged space time produce a mind that could RELIABLY examine anything?! If evolution were true, we would not be able to trust anything. The same for human, secular logic. See also Ruth 2:12. Of course, the 'logic' of Jesus remains beyond our comprehension.

You seek observational evidence but ultimately what you need is to understand the mystery.

You still haven't answered my question - why? What is your evidence to support your claim? I thought that atheists were supposed to be all about evidence instead of blind faith!

If you can't believe anything you see in a book, does that mean that you and millions of other people have been wasting their time in school learning from textbooks? And, as Mr. Much has noted, many of these book were written by Jews, which according to you (but again without any supporting evidence*) somehow disqualifies them even more.

It may seem simplistic, but whenever someone asks me why they should believe in the Bible, I smile and tell them this:


Because the Bible tells me so. It tells me God exists, it tells me I was a vile, wayward sinner, and it tells me that I needed a Savior. It tells me of God's plan of Salvation(R), and that it is freely given if I only trust and obey every word of the Word of God. It tells me there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun. It tells me in exceedingly clear language written some 2000 years ago that JESUS IS COMING QUICKLY to redeem my soul. It tells me I have a mansion waiting for me in Glory and that I will inherit all of Christ's riches. It tells me what is right, what is wrong, and it demands my complete servitude, which is a very freeing experience. No other book is so complete, no other book is so clearly put together, and no other book can serve as my roadmap to eternity with my omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent Creator, the GREAT I AM, the ALPHA and OMEGA, my sweet, kind, loving, beneficent, sovereign and righteous LORD my GOD.


I then walk away, knowing that I have planted a seed that will take purchase in that person's soul. HALLELUJAH!

Yes. We've been here already. This is where we told you that the Bible is the evidence of God's existence. Hence, if you want to make me not believe in God, you have to try to discredit Bible as a reliable source of information. With actual evidence, not just because it's a book written by Jews - I hope that the textbook analogy showed you that this is not a good example of evidence, my dearest Mr. Anti-Semite.

There's a lot packed in there, so let me do this in a list form.

(1) Which stories are you referring to? Like, some pagan religion of your choice? Or epic stories about heroic people such as Gilgamesh or Väinämöinen? Please clarify, and while you're at it, please explain how and why these stories are more believable than the Holy Bible (especially given that all of these ancient stories include references to supernatural beings).

(2) I think we have established, based on the available evidence (for example, see points (3) and (4) below), that you are not very familiar with the contents of the Bible, and therefore you have no basis to judge it.

(3) You won't find that description in the Holy Bible.

(4) According to the Holy Bible, God did not create the world in 7 days.

Anyway, you seem confused. You see, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ are repeating the same questions again and again because your answers are naught but variations of the same non-answers. They're trying to find a way to communicate with you the issue that you're blind to. Please be patient with yourself. We'll get there!

That's not evidence, dear. That's a claim. A claim is a statement offered as a true and realistic representation of reality. As reality does indeed include a Divine Master Creator, your claim is therefore inaccurate. Logic and evidence will help you see this, but you must be willing to accept the facts, despite where they may lead.

No one said the LORD has a big, white beard, although this is a common image to use to impart the quality of age, experience, and therefore wisdom. The fact is, we cannot know for sure what qualities the Lord thy God has. We have some clues. For example, we know He sits in a throne (Psalm 47:8) and at one time allowed Moses to see His Holy Backside (Exodus 33:22-23). Therefore we can conclude the Lord has a bum with which to sit and flash friends. I would not care to speculate whether or not it is "big."

Not quite, dear. Science is the *study* of things. It is a particular methodology for gaining knowledge apart from belief and assumption. To study science is to study the make-up of things, which, the honest student will concede, includes the divine force of God. How else does one explain divine pulling, or why things don't fall up?
