Hello all, just joined to further my relationship in Christ. He has been so good to me. I have mild cerebral palsy and I really feel like my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has let me along the way. Any advice to further my journey with Him would be a blessing

Hello and welcome to our friendly church family! You've no place to go but up up UP! With Jesus in your corner, those spaz demons haven't a chance! Last time Jesus dominated a bunch of demons, they flew into a herd of pigs who then jumped off a cliff, angering the farmers who wondered who that rabbi was wiping out their livelihood (Matthew 8:28-34). I'm sure it wasn't personal, but if you've got neighbors who really frustrate you, you might pray to kill two birds with one stone, if you know what I mean.

These two statements are not in agreement.

And if you don't mind, please don't talk about your nasty habit of self rape. Now I have images in my mind of spastic, never-ending yanking, skin ripping, howling in pain and pleasure, and it's making it difficult for me to get on with my day. I confess to the poster and to my brethren here that I am skeptical of this visitor to our friendly, loving forums.


We must remember that he is a sinner or he would not have any form of cerebral palsy. Sin causes disease and healing will not come until our new potential friend lays it all out in front of the Lord and begs forgiveness. Delay is not an option. NOW is the day of salvation(R). (2 Corinthians 6:2)


I also would urge him only to speak of his sin of Onanism with a trusted brother in the faith. In fact, that makes me think of Faith Machine, who would more than welcome the chance to discuss these things with you.


I am praying a cautious prayer for him, and indeed asking for a hedge of protection on his behalf.


Hopeful for a full confession of sin and evidence of the desire to live a pure and dedicated life for Christ,

I don't think the subtle approaches by Godly Brother Faith Machine and that Didymus fellow have worked, so here's a not-so-subtle approach for you.

God creates good and evil:

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

After all, the Serpent from the garden of Eden was His best creation ever:

Besides the creature responsible for Adam and Eve's demise, God also created venomous snakes, malaria spreading mosquitoes, cancer, bubonic plague, ah, and did we mention that every dictator and serial killer are also works of God?

So to recap, for the slow thinking: no, not everything that God created is good. So your line, "God made it so it has to be good" is illogical. Interestingly, you seem to approve of one God's creation (marijuana) while rejecting another God's creation (tobacco), which is yet another proof that your argument makes no sense whatsoever.

God tests his children much like he did with Joseph. Satan exists, but you didn't see him running to that when famine and death hit his farm and family. Just because marijuana exists doesn't make it good. Rapists, pornography, and even poppers exist. That don't mean those products ain't sinful. You should study up on the Bible like I have.
