    Praise be to Him

    Hi.

I don't know how to do this. Call me Hester. It says I should share my favorite Bible verse. Mine is Ephesians 4:12 "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." It reminds me to devote my every breath to the Lord and keeps me strong when I need to be grounded by His Majesty.

I'm not quite sure what else to share. It says to share the Church I currently attend, but I'll admit I prefer to worship in the privacy of my home. The Bible says it is a sin to make a spectacle of my worship, so because of that I choose to remain in privacy with my devotions.

On a side note, I have a question: How long until I can create a new thread? I have a question I need to ask my peers.

    Thank you,
    Hester.

    Thank you,
    Hester.

At this point, your peers are unsaved thrash. For the most part unsaved thrash give answers without Biblical Authority, so those answers are no answers at all.

You can ask questions in this subforum. If they are asked in a cogent and respectful way there is a good chance that a Pastor may come across your post and provide wise Biblically sourced advice. Unfortunately there are some papists and atheists who may try and derail you. They are a pestilence.

Anyway Hester, tell us about your journey to Christ. And I pray that you were not named after the shameful woman with the scarlet letter.

58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bringk upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

His Majesty? King Felipe VI of Spain?

Personally, I think that Lord Jesus is a better role model.

Hello and to our friendly forum!

I don't know how to do this.
Why don't you let Jesus guide you?

        Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Your application is currently under review by the Department of Faith. In the meantime, feel free to search the existing forums - chances are that your idea is not as new as you think it is and that someone has already asked and answered your question. You can post in all forums, you just cannot make new threads in them.

          Re: Praise be to Him

Hello Hester, you seem to have figured out what to do after all! Perhaps all you lack is confidence! Tell us a bit about yourself. Do you have your husband's permission to be here? How many children have you born for him? How do you ensure he is adequately respected at the gate of your fair city or town (Proverbs 31:23)? I know some wives who stand at the borders of their towns with signs, stopping newcomers to talk about their husbands and chatting with the locals to make sure there is sufficient respect. What's your favorite tactic?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
