    Hello, everyone!

I'm glad to have found this great online community. I'm hoping to learn more from the other members here and be further enlightened. My favorite Bible verse is from Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." A very blessed day to all!

    Re: Hello, everyone!

Hi, welcome to the forum. Philippians and Galatians are two great books, particular examples of Paul's writing style which I admire. God brings us His message and here at Landover we follow it. The two previous verses show what I mean:
PHILIPPIANS 4 .KJV . look up
    11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

So often we see preachers making claims about their capacity for faith but they do not seem to have an anointing. They are more interested in Cadillacs and caviar that saving lost souls from their suffering. Pastors here are devoted to serving The Lord and dedicate not only their lives to Him but their time and money too. It is God's money after all and we are returning to Him what He's entrusted us with for a short time.

Those false teachers are building up for themselves a luxurious lifestyle even more despicable that the lives we all lead before we met Jesus. It's as though they're bewitched. That sort of influence can wreak havoc in a congregation and The Pastoral Team watch what goes on for a reason.
GALATIANS 2 .KJV . look up
    17
If, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

The strength you have declared in Jesus is what keeps every Christian safe. Hallelujah!

Hi Carl! I am very glad you decided to join us and start the path to salvation. Please tell us a bit more about yourself, starting with this questions:

        1) How do you make sure you are not using clothes with mixed fabric?
        2) What rod do you favor to discipline your children?
        3) Given a hypothetical country with Biblical Law, do you think we should stone homosexuals with big stones and quick deaths or should we use smaller stones and enlarge the agony?
        4) Do you wash your hands before eating?

Thanks for your answers, please use the Bible to justify them as long as you can.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

Welcome Carl (why a C and not a K, like it is supposed to be spelled?) to Gods Favorite Web™ site.
Well Karl, you've picked a good verse, words to live by and show God you mean to kneel prostrate at His Glorious Feet©.
How many sons has Jesus seen fit to impregnate your wife with?
What firearms do you use when hunting lesser creatures?
          Romans 13:4
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

          Genesis 9:5-6
5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
