My son recently acted really different for the past 2 years and he started to listen to this band called "My Chemical Romance" and dresses in all black! He came out to me and my husband as gay and a furry, what do I do?

Teach your son how to be straight and burn all his black clothes and "My Chemical Romance" cds! Take him to church. If all else fails, stone him to death.

The Holy Bible is very clear. Rebellious children are to be punished, unto death if necessary. This is for the good of the community as well as for the good of the child. Stoning provides a death that is quick enough to not interfere with short attention spans, yet allows the sinner to live just long enough to consider accepting Christ before the soul leaves the body.

If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.

Members of this foul and untalented band ought to be chased down and beaten with stones as well.

My husband and I are quite devastated over the recent event that happened. My "gay" son is no son of ours. He keeps blasting the foul bands song in his room and it's out of control. We were thinking of disowning him...What do you people think?

That's very good, sweetie! This verse teaches us that doctors are bad and only God is good. If He decides to give your child cancer, you cannot take your baby to a hospital - just pray to God that He changes His mind and takes the cancer back!

Is this what you're going to do for your rebellious son before stoning him to death? It's probably a good idea, then you can tell Jesus you tried. But if you want some friendly advice, hurry up and find a Bible Affirming Church with True Christian™ Elders because your uterus isn't getting any younger you know. A man deserves to have a son he can be proud of, don't you think? There's no reason to waste time on a lost cause. Or as Jesus says, don't throw your pearls after swine (Matthew 7:6).

I'm sorry to hear about your son. I'm having trouble understanding how someone "comes out as furry" since I'd have thought it's pretty obvious walking around in a bat fursuit, or whatever species your son was attracted to.

Keeping such a person in your home is like yoking two different animals together, perhaps to pull one of those tourist carriages. Imagine one drawn by a zebra and a komodo dragon. They'd be pulling in opposite directions tipping over the carriage and then the komodo would start biting things. Being yoked together with an unbeliever is like that. Explain this to your son before shunning him.

I have talked to him before shunning him out, he's acting like a totally insane person and I'm thinking of sending him to an all-boys Christian school. Am I making a good choice?
