Leviticus 19:19a Ye shall keep my statutes.
the association between loving Him and keeping His commandments is brought out by Jesus. Obviously no-one who loves Jesus would don a luminous monokini and stand on the street corner with a sign reading

    .$95 - ANYthing.

because that contravenes numerous commandments, many of which may be found in Leviticus. Part of maintaining a wall of separation between the clean and the unclean involves knowing how to judge in an appropriate way. If you saw someone acting out a fetish character on the bus..I'm more familiar with trains where in corridors by sleeping compartments some very strange attire may be seen my advice would be to get your head down early and stay there..where was I? ..oh yes, on the bus: what would you do?
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Jesus knew all about trains. He also knew Leviticus. During the Roman era all sorts of depraved urges were abroad but depravity is not love. It's not even hate, the things they get up to and the way they stand or walk along swivelling their eyes and rotating their necks as though of hemlock they had drunk or more likely cactus juice then turning up next door showing off (or wobbling around in the all night cocktail lounge) it makes me feel sick just thinking about it. So, appreciating the opportunities trains would afford once invented, Jesus reminded us to
Matthew 22:37-39 ..love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Heathens misconstrue love in ways Jesus never intended regardless of whether they've read Leviticus, Matthew or John. Or Judges or Deuteronomy, two very helpful records of God's love and how important it is to follow His commandments. Scripture requires context and it's always an encouragement when the context is supplied; posting an entire chapter is not normally required but reading links are helpful and I'm happy to encourage anyone providing them.
Leviticus 19:17b-18 Thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
Psalm 119:7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

-Ps 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
-Ps 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
-James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Re: I come in peace let's talk

Thank you for posting Scripture – I was going to say "to support your claims" but when we understand The Bible (by having read it) there's no need to "claim" anything! It's all set out so plainly by God with everything we need to know right there on the page.

That doesn't mean we can't find out for ourselves whether we like juniper berries or redcurrants. But what we wear or where we go or what we see or listen to? Jesus is very clear on these points and offers remedies which even the most obtuse could see were effective.

                        In Christ.
