You could see the beauty of God if you would just open your eyes. God won't show himself to a person who has his eyes closed, you know. Logic can keep you from God, but only if you let it. Deep in your heart you know, God exists.

But I have a friends from many religions. (not from islam) We are good friends. We respect each together. Looking for common things all the time.

Muslims respect no one, not even themselves. The very word of their religion means "I want to be a slave because I hate myself and deserve nothing more than shit thrown in my face." In Arabic, of course. The LORD will throw dung in their faces. He says so in the Holy Bible. Why would you want to hang out with people who wear crap on their faces?

James. I have personal question for you. If you live in one street with many peolple. One could be for example christian, another jew, the next one budhist, and also hinduist and a lot of various kinds of religions. But no one baptist. What will you do ?

That makes no sense. Would you put a Christian baby in a room the a catlick priest? Of course not, the baby would be raped.
I do not understand why you hate God unless you are a minion for the Devil. The thing is, you people never admit it anyway so asking is fruitless.

I am confused - did you expect us to applaud you for your choice of eternal damnation? OK, I'll try: yay, I'm so happy that you want to burn in Hell forever! I will not try to convince you otherwise!

...No, that was not sincere. I don't want to lie, because lying is a sin. This is what I really think: I don't want you to go to Hell, so I will continue to rebuke you, because this is what Jesus wants me to do:

1 Timothy 5:20 - Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

We are happy to spread the Word of God to anyone who actually wants to listen. Everybody else is free to leave!

Is that by choice or by accident? If it's an accident, why would you brag about it? I'm asking because I also know people of different religions, including some Muslims who live, work, and/or study in places I frequent. Since I am interacting with them, I see no reason not to be friendly (it gives me more opportunities to share the Word of God with these poor hellbound souls). If we are sharing what kinds of friends we do not have, though, I do not know a single person who is an albino. I'd love to know an albino. I'd stare at him/her for hours!

You are forgiven as a foreigner who does not speak American English well. If your wish to learn our language is sincere, though, t would be nice if you tried to memorize rules of capitalization.

Hello Ed. I am wondering why, if you are really an atheist, you have chosen a Baptist church forum as the place to practice your language skills. I think there are probably other sites - like The Sad Atheist forums - where you might have been more at home.

What is life like in Slovakia? My late step-grandmother-in-law went there once, even though she did so by mistake. She took one of those cheap flights that she thought was going to Vienna and landed in Bratislava - how we laughed!

I'm always willing to speak up for someone seeking knowledge of Christ, remembering how I argued sometimes even as a child with people explaining The Bible to rescue me from damnation.

HELL, FOREVER, is what they hoped to save me from. Well, I had eyes. I could read The Bible. And it seemed to me that the basics were very wrong. One Easter I wrote a note to say I would believe this stuff if I could – but I couldn't.

You see I'd come up with the idea (after reading Isaiah's prophecy as it happens) that I did not believe in human sacrifice. What I was missing, the most important part in fact, is that what I think is irrelevant. This is about what God knows. The Bible explains that everyone starts off deserving torment. When looking at a baby God does not think how cute its little toes are but sees a writhing mess of sin. Many babies will go on to worship idols or to study astrology or obsess over mythologies which can only be described as insane to such an extent that even the most committed presentation of God's Plan for Salvation will be rejected. Death alone was not enough. Hell was created. Torture beyond our comprehension but what could God do?

All babies have rejected God's Perfect Love.

How could a perfect God ever understand death? It comes from sin but God does not sin. Everything about Him is perfect and everything He does is perfect. The only way for Him to understand would be to experience death for Himself but that would mean sin. Not just enacting sin by eating a dead pig or something or even by turning into a baby. God decided to actually be sin. And that meant being born as a human being. There's no room for manoeuvre on this, The Bible is absolutely explicit:

II Corinthians 5:21 For he [God] hath made him [Jesus] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

That's the missing piece. That's what I didn't understand. Jesus Christ was born as a tiny baby with the little toes but without the sin. Born for the vivid purpose of being killed and can you imagine how revolted He must have been to not only see sin but to actually become sin? By rejecting the perfect sacrifice He made I was throwing all that revolting straight back in His face, failing to appreciate God's standard and instead applying mine. As I read more of The Bible I came to understand The Truth, the consequences in the real world when people accept what The Bible teaches and the consequences of rejecting it.

So when someone expresses doubts I remember my own doubts and am happy to show where The Bible tells us about just how much God loves us and what happens to everyone who thinks they know better.

2. Some of the tortures guaranteed in The Bible for rejecting God's love are
• very high temperatures between 240°C and 444°C
• worms that never die gnawing on you forever, first mentioned in the last verse of Isaiah [referenced above] and confirmed by Jesus in Mark chapter 9
• suffocating smoke so bad that if you weren't already dead it would kill you getting worse and worse and worse for ever and ever
• wailing becomes inevitable
• then your teeth gnash which means they grind away and disintegrate while Jesus watches as described in Revelation chapter 14
• none of this ever stops

Yes, I was encouraged by his understanding of danger from video games in another thread.

.….It should by banned.….We are stimulate next generation. This.….emotionaly empty enviroment will lead to bad consequences. There are a lot of traditional games, which could fullfil children needs for fun and health development of their minds, social skills and good manners.

Mass media in general are emotionally empty too and promote ideas about equality of beliefs. There is a mawkish veneer to much of it, trying to sway opinions without facts, but believing I should be murdered is never equal to believing I'd like a slice of cake and a cup of tea. The consequence from preaching equality of beliefs without stating what those beliefs are is all around us. Eduard's concerns about video games also apply to social media and news bulletins which are almost universally biased and shallow.
