This is my introduction, I suppose.

Hello, I'm TheTruth2001. I shall not disclose my real name. I went to Southside Church a year ago, but stopped going fairly recently due to the juggling of college and normal life. I have a form of Autism called Aspergers' syndrome, I am a furry, I'm bi, and I'm 18 years old. Now, before you go screaming at me saying how I am going to go to Hell, remember that God said "Judge not, lest ye be judged," and that God loved the entire world, everyone on it, so much that he gave Jesus (his only begotten Son) to save and deliver us from Satan's grasp (see John 3:16). My favourite book in the Bible is Matthew. I have been basing my life around that book for the past 4 years now ever since I discovered it, and I have learnt a lot.

I play video games and am an avid fan of retro games like Ecco the Dolphin, Spyro the Dragon, and Sonic the Hedgehog. People here seem to be old people who don't understand video games and try to use them as a scapegoat of Satanism, but God says that we must be able to accept the things we may or may not like, including in this case, the evolution of technology. Video games. I personally hate MMORPGs and First Person Shooters, but I do not ever try to take them down because 1) it is pointless to try, and 2) God does not intend for humans to judge based on interests.

So that is a little bit about me. If I can teach you what God has told me and taught me over the years, I'd love to spread Jesus's love and word. God bless you all.

Hello my patronizing little friend and welcome to the forums, I suppose.

You seem obsessed with judging us for judging others, which some might view as hypocrisy. Before you make any more of a fool of yourself or lecture us further, you could usefully read Pastor Jim Osborne's sermon: The Most MISUNDERSTOOD Passage in All the Bible (Matthew 7:1-5).
Vaccinated by the love of Jesus!!!

Young lady, I see a lot talking about yourself and not much about Jesus. Did you come here to tell us about yourself or to offer praisation to the Lord?

Many people come to this website only to mock and ride roughshod over our most cherished beliefs and there is a certain hesitancy in taking what many people new comers say at face value.

Our friendly forum is geared towards praising Jesus and following His explicit commands as set down in the Bible(KJV1611) so when you admit to engaging in sex with animals and choosing to live the Autistic lifestyle it raises an eyebrow to say the least.

Speak plainly: what is your purpose here?

Well what do you know, it looks like we have yet another person who doesn't pay attention to the exact words of John 3:16. Mr./Ms. Truth, did you notice the words "whosoever believeth in him" in that verse? Unless you believe in God (and follow every word of the Bible), you're not going to achieve salvation and will burn in Hell.

Hello, Miss Whatever-Your-Name-Is, and Normally, I like to present a more cheerful type of greeting to our newcomers, but it appears that you're here to judge us (even though you are griping that you think we might be judging you.) Before you assume that you can tell the "old people" servants of how to conduct ourselves, I might remind you that has given us this order, and it is one that we take very seriously here:

Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

And that "gospel" happens to be this:

Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

I Peter 3:18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit".

And, to reject this glorious salvation means this:

Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Now, then, since you think we are judging you, then perhaps you can see now that you have mis-judged us for presenting the gospel to you, as instructed by the , and to all newcomers to this blessed .

I do so hope that this clarifies your perspective and ends your glaringly-obvious confusion.

          Sincerely, Isabella W.

First thing you did wrong was assumed my gender. I am a male. Second thing you did wrong was assume that furries have sex with animals. Ma'am, there is a difference between bestiality and furries. I HATE bestiality and believe that all bestiophiles should burn in the pits of hell. Having sex with animals is wrong. I am not a bestiophile. I am simply a furry who likes talking animals, nothing more. Third thing you did wrong was say that I choose to live an autistic lifestyle. Ma'am, I did not choose to have autism. God gave me this disorder to show me how to overcome life obstacles such as mental disorders. You need to open your eyes to this, and stop judging me for anything wrong with me.

As for the rest of you, saying I'm judging you and whatnot, you are sorely mistaken. I do not come to judge, I only come in peace to correct mistakes and misinterpretations people have of God. God has blessed me with His wonderful voice, and what I'm trying to get at here is that He has told me that He created ALL OF US equally. We are all humans, created at the hands of God, and we need to treat eachother with the same love that God treats us with, otherwise we are no better than Satan. We need to be accepting of eachother, instead of being so quick to judge. I'm not judging, I'm trying to say that the Devil may have grabbed hold of your heart and made you blind to the Lord's words of acceptance. Satan is making you see only what YOU WANT to see. Do you know why the world is falling apart? Politics, corruption, poverty, greed... All at the hands opf Satan. He is also controlling Christianity by taking over the peoples's minds and telling them to fight eachother, and Satan makes you think that little things like video games are corrupting society, but you get so tied up in taking down innocent things that you don't pay attention to REAL problems like political corruption and media like CNN spreading nasty lies into our society and ruining peoples's lives for money. God says to be loyal to Him, yourself, and to others. Please wake up, open your eyes, stop letting Satan blind you. I come to discuss how you can take off the blindfolds Satan has put onto you without your knowlege. I come in peace and love, and with the Lord thy God our Saviour.

Thank you so much for the welcome! Praise ye for preaching the Gospel. However, while God says to preach the Gospel, remember that he says to "Every Creature." No matter what. What he means is not to force the Bible or scare people into believing it (God says it is wrong to do so), but peacefully teach it to them and preach the Lord's mighty Word.

Yes, Mark 16:16 does state that. However, it is important to remember that God also says to let people believe what they want. While this may seem to conflict with preaching the Gospel, it doesn't: Think about it. The Lord wants us to preach it to anything that will listen. If they don't want to listen, then so be it, we don't need to force it onto them. It makes perfect sense, doesn't it? We have no need (nor right) to use fearmongering to make people be so afraid of going to Hell that they read the Bible and try to get with God, because the Lord says it is wrong to use fear to try and control other people. The Lord is the one who instills fear, not the humans. When God thinks a person gets too far out of hand, the Lord will deal with them promptly. Humans do not need to get involved in the fear element, as God has it under control.

I also saw that bit about griping, heheh. Don't worry, I was making a joking assumption based on what people posted on video games. Older people don't understand video games and so they try to take them down. It is human nature to dislike what one doesn't understand. This is why I say that we need to be more acccepting of the evolution of times, in this case technology, instead of pushing it away. God says that a person must be willing to accept the present and future, no matter whether they like it or not.

Thank you again for the kind words. I see you were trying not to lash out at me, but I assure you I only come in peace and love with the Lord thy God. I come not to judge, but to spread to those who believe, what God has told me. God took off the blindfold, and He made me see that I was a sinner 4 years ago, and He told me to believe in the Holy Bible, as I would be saved. I was an atheist because I thought God was a lost cause, but when God came to me and showed me Matthew's book, my entire life was changed for the better. To this day, I still praise that book, and have been doing everything I can to base my life around it and the Mighty Words of the Lord and Jesus Christ. God has taught me to be accepting, and told me in a vision to go and preach to anyone and anything that would listen, about the truth and what He has told me. So here I am now

Re: This is my introduction, I suppose.

                Greetings!

I wish to welcome you to this forum though I am not allowed to actually join the forum due to the fact that this is a forum for Baptist white people and I am not Baptist or even a white man. I wanted to tell you that in Jamaica which is my home country we catch homosexuals and set them on fire but these good Baptist people try to help them return to sanity and normal life. I'm not sure which procedure produces better results because I am not privy to the facts regarding the Landover outreach program to reeducate homosexuals and save them. I can tell you that the procedure we follow in Jamaica is very effective and once we burn a homosexual they never try that kind of thing again. Of course they never do anything again at all but that is not part of the story at this time. I do not participate in any of the activities you have mentioned and I do not know what a furry is but I say to you none the less welcome to this forum.

                  "What he means"?!

Seriously, where in the Bible does God give you the authority to interpret what He (note the upper case "H") means in HIS Word?!

You're 18 years old with some sort of brain-wiring problem, but you come here to a website filled to the rafters with people twice or thrice your age who have studied the Bible-- sometimes in the original languages--for decades more than you have been alive.

Yes, Mark 16:16 does state that.
Well, lookie here. You mentioned a Bible verse. Didn't type it out though, so anyone could read it to see how it supports your pronouncment.
However, it is important to remember that God also says to let people believe what they want.
Hmm. . . not even a citation of a verse here. Meanwhile, I keep thinking about all the people that God directed His chosen followers to wipe out because they worshipped false gods. (Note the lower case "g".)

While this may seem to conflict with preaching the Gospel, it doesn't: Think about it. The Lord wants us to preach it to anything that will listen. I bolded the most boldly stupid part, but that entire paragraph begs the question again--Where in the Bible does God say that?

Older people don't understand video games and so they try to take them down.
Well, you got me there. I don't understand video games. I do understand the nature of God's character as described in the Bible because I have read it many, many times.
It is human nature to dislike what one doesn't understand.
Hearing you claim to understand human nature is mildly amusing as opposed to the offense that I take at you explaining God's nature to me.

Are you confusing the God of the Bible with some fuzzy-thinking new age writer like Marianne Williamson? Because not one word of the Bible supports your claims--nay--your directives to our church members.

There are non-believers out there who would roll their eyes in boredom at the way you go on and on about how God seems to have selected you to be His representative on earth. My concern is the way you go on and on about how God speaks to you without references to any specific portion of the very book that has been used for centuries to inform the rest of the planet about the existance of God.

I swung the subject a little and couldn't correct it because no editing privilages, but what I meant to say was that "God also says." Please stop taking everything I say out of context, and start thinking rationally. I am referring to the big picture, do I really have to spell everything out for you guys?

I understand people here are much older than me and have studied the Bible for far longer than I have been alive. But I want to remind people that God wants us to love each other, because I see a lot of homophobic and hateful speech on this site against normal people, mainly caused by people scapegoating modern things in modern society with Satanism. It seems people are becoming bling to the whole meaning behind the Bible: God wants us to LOVE one another, no matter our flaws, and be able to respect each other no matter our differences, and spread this love that God has given us through His mighty Word.

Yes, of COURSE I didn't type out the entire verse, because I assume you already know it well enough to know what it is. It does not matter if I were to type out the entire thing or just the reference, because it is still the exact same thing. I was saving time and space. Stop freaking out and looking for reasons to doubt my Faith in the Lord, as I am not doubting YOUR faith. Here I am trying to be peaceful, and here you come trying to tear me down. How old are you, and how old am I? Huge age difference. You are basically bullying me at that point. And over such small details.

"Bolded out the stupid part" Lol. This proves that you are biased against me just because you do not understand me. You know full and well that the big picture in the Bible includes that very statement. No, it is not written to the word, but when you take a step back and look at the whole meaning of God's Mighty Word, you can clearly see that God wants peace. Not this fighting. We must be willing to accept everything that comes to us because it is here for a reason, and it is all part of God's wonderful plan.

So you have an opinion, I get that, but I really don't care in the long run. We all have opinions. Some people just understand some things better than others too, and so people use opinions to try and push the facts away. Also, I'm not, in any way, trying to say what God is. As I mentioned earlier, I was making a generalisation. It is God's job to fill in the details.

No, I unfortunately am not mistaking God for Shel Silverstein. Dunno where you came up with that, but my only guess would be that you just dislike my opinions and views to the point that you are trying to take me down just like every other thing that you do not understand and refuse to accept and move on with.

And finally, this also goes along with the Bible "not supporting a word of my claims": Hate to disagree with someone older and (supposedly) wiser than myself, but the Bible has a meaning that can be summed up into this and confirm my claims: We are all born sinners, and we have been sinners for many millenia. God still loved us though, despite us all being sinners. God loved us so much that he sent down Christ (His only Son) to save us and deliver us from Satan. He was merciful enough to give us a chance. God wanted us to love eachother and accept each other. God wants peace and harmony, but Satan is corrupting people every day and warping how people see things. When Jesus performed the miracles that He did, He was trying to not only deliver us from evil, but also teach us that we need to love eachother bvecause God created every single one of us through His hands. Every living creature in the entire Universe was created by God (Not just Earth, keep in mind, because God created our Universe too!). The Bible has rules that we must follow, yes. But God also has rules that say we must be able to accept things we don't understand nor want to understand, because it is part of His plan.
"Love thy neigbour" means as it sounds. Love your fellow humans and critters, as they are created by God just like you and me. "Judge not, lest ye be judged" means to not judge others, no matter what, or else you will be judged by God. You cannot simply look at a lifestyle and say "God hates that!" because you do not know for sure if God actually hates it or not, so you must be willing to accept it. Keywords: Willing to accept it. Do you see now?
Yeah, I know it is a very basic generalisation of the Bible, but hang in there...
Jesus was killed by us humans, as you know. We are sinners. We were born of sin. But God still loves us. Every single one of us. No matter what age, gender, race, sexual orientation, religion... He still loves us because He created us. We are all His children, no matter what. Again. Despite the fact we *KILLED His SON on the CROSS* (yeah, he rose, but what matters here is the fact we as humans tried to kill God's Son), and despite the fact that we are SINNERS who are BORN with SIN, God still loves us ALL. God wants us to treat each other like we are His children. He wants us to preach the Gospel so we can spread His love, the very same love that He had for us when Jesus was sent down, and the very same love that He still to this day has for us.

To say that God hates, for example, homosexuals... Is wrong. He loves EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING because He CREATED it all, and He is MERCIFUL. He gives all a chance to redeem themselves, no matter how much sinning they have done. When God condemns a soul to Hell, He does it not in pure anger, but in sorrow too, because that soul belonged to one of His own children, the very life He created. He wants us to accept eachother instead of burning eachother alive and trying to hurt eachother, because He wants peace among all of His children, and He wants us to love eachother just like He loves us ALL, despite any flaws we have. He wants us to give eachother a chance, just like He gives US ALL a chance.

                      Hello my dear Brother Trevor!
Thank you for accepting me. Hah, it seems you are one of the few more sane people around here who (for the most part) understand where I'm coming from. Your attempt to understand me shows that you understand what God wants, and I'm very happy about that
I think it is wrong you are "not allowede" to participate just because of your skin colour. God created us all equally, we all have a heart no matter what colour we are.

It is quite alarming that people in Jamacia burn homosexuals, indeed. However, I have full confidence that God deals with those people accordingly. Personally, I think that people here can be a bit harsh on homosexuals and "unusual" people, because using fearmongering is quite obscenely common as far as I can see on this site :'(
I will just have to pray for these people and hope they understand that God wants peace on Earth, not conflict and forcing of beliefs.

I'd be happy to help you understand what a furry is. All furries are is a group of people who like animals that basically walk on two legs. The point of being a furry is to be creative and make friends, and show your creativity off to others without worrying about being judged by haters. Unfortunately, many people get caught up in fake news and lies mainly brought about by the money-greedy media, showing the fake furries and making them look like actual furries. I need to clarify that real furries do not believe in the disgusting act of bestiality or child rape. We just like drawing and having fun and hanging out with friends. Yes, there is a small percentage that is into the sex (only about 16%), but that is a very small amount. People enjoy altering those numbers and making us look like sex addicts. But when you think about it, you can see that the Fandom is nothing more than people who draw and chill out, and sometimes dress up in fancy costumes (known as "fursuits"). Hope this helps you!

What I would like to see are specific Bible verses backing up your warm and cuddly--yet somehow smacking of patronization--perspective on what God and the Bible are really all about.

BTW, I could be accused of being a bit condescending here; but at least I recognize my own tendencies. More importantly, I am a member in good standing of Landover Baptist and you are a visitor.

It would be a bit irksome, I would say.

Nevertheless, despite your many deluded ideas about the Bible and The One True God, I will pray for your eyes to be opened. I have complete faith that The Lord will receive my prayers as eagerly as He receives your own.

God has blessed me with His wonderful voice, and what I'm trying to get at here is that He has told me that He created ALL OF US equally.
He sends all those who do not believe in Him to suffer in Hell (John 3:18) - how does that square with your claim that God loves everyone equally? If He loved everyone equally, He would not punish people for believing in Ganesh or Pachamama!

                            Where?

Yes, Mark 16:16 does state that. However, it is important to remember that God also says to let people believe what they want. While this may seem to conflict with preaching the Gospel, it doesn't: Think about it. The Lord wants us to preach it to anything that will listen. If they don't want to listen, then so be it, we don't need to force it onto them.
That's right, God is OK with sending 99.9% of humanity to Hell. As a human, though, don't you feel you need to do anything you can to prevent your loved ones from burning in Hell?

When God thinks a person gets too far out of hand, the Lord will deal with them promptly.
Then you agree that God did not think that Stalin got too far out of hand, since He allowed him to rule for decades?
God created fossils to test our faith.

                              Greetings!

I was reading your kind reply when I was struck by the fact that furry people are having sex 16% of the time. I did some calculations and I discovered that even though I am living in a dormitory setting surrounded by willing white girls I am only having sex about 12% of the time and I am a Black man. We Black men are known for having a lot of sex but I am having less sex than the furry people. Also I was not telling you about setting homosexuals on fire to be cruel because I am not cruel and I only wanted to give you the facts to judge for yourself. Here in Babylon it is not popular to burn homosexuals so you are probably safe but I would advise not going to Jamaica unless you are skilled at fast running. And Black men can run very fast which is why we are so successful as felons so choose wisely your destinations.
