A brother in christ, seeking a real christian wife

    Hello.

My name is Scott and I live in Fort Wayne Indiana. The church I attend is Wallen Babtist. My favorite scripture is Colossians 3:18 right now. I'm 47 and I havent felt called to look for a wife until now. I am in a place financially to look for my wife and I am being called by the Lord to search.

I was looking into dating apps for Chistians and felt called to join. I'm looking for my brothers in Christ to help me. My church is conservative and they do call women to submit to husbands but I believe they have fallen prey to society pressures about husbands. I follow scripture and I believe a wife is not only to be submissive, but be beaten when she trys to wonder from her place. How do I find a wife that loves the Lord enough to be what she is intended to be.

I've never been married and have focused until now to on my business to ensure I can take care a family.

Re: A brother in christ, seeking a real christian wife

Welcome, Scott. If it is Christian fellowship you seek, you have come to the right place. We are Christian here and friendly. Also, some of our members are the fathers of nubile young Christian women and may well be seeking husbands for them, if such arrangements have not already been made. I will pray for your success in this area.

Do please tell us more of your life among the Indianans. We are interested in your story. What is your favorite revolver? What rifle do you favor? What is the nature of your business? Are you flush with funds? We want to hear everything and we welcome your testimony.

    God Bless

Hello, Scott, and to our friendly forum! It is so nice to meet you. Regarding your search of a wife, have you tried prayer?

Matthew 7:7 - Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

The only reason why God would deny your prayer, is if you are a hellbound sinner whom God despises:

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

With these verses in mind, I do hope you soon will be happily married!

P.S.: When you are praying to God for a new wife, you also should pray to cure you from dyslexia or whatever other disorder doe snot allow you to capitalize "Christ." (in the title of the thread)

Hello and welcome. These forums have nothing to do with any "dating app", so you may have been deceived. I wish you luck in your search for a wife, though I am confident that my own daughter can do better than a man old enough to be her grandfather who can't spell Baptist.

          Welcome brother

These petty women have jumped on you but don’t let that stop you from your quest. As a fellow male I know a lot about what men need and I will be more than happy to show you.

          Again my heartfelt welcome.

Brother Larry, I am sorry if Sister Basilissa and I seemed harsh. But we are all too aware that there are several True Christian™ men who are in need of wives - you are a fine example of this, even if you are also perhaps just a little too mature to wait for dear little Hannah?

You, Larry dear, have to take precedence over random strangers who think this is a "dating site".

            With fondest wishes,
            Joanna

To you, I extend a most cheerful , Mr. King, and may I say how nice it is that you have sought us out at . I do so appreciate your writing such an informative message of introduction, but it is my hope that you will not mind my saying (gently) that while is a blessed site for the servants of the , it is not a place where one does dating, courting, or any of that sort of "romantic" thing. Our focus here is on the glorious Gospel of the , and in helping each other to understand directives as shown within the pages of the blessed . In other words: we are not a dating agency. However, I do hope that you shall meet a very lovely woman to date, elsewhere, and that your lives shall be fulfilled in marital bliss, should that be the Will of Almighty.

Oh, how I do agree with you, dear Sister Joanna, and I thank you for raising this. I had not posted a welcoming message as early I do usually, but I have been watching this thread and waiting for an appropriate time to respond. And, now, seems to be that time. Goodness, I did not find you or our beloved Sister Basilissa to be harsh -- merely informative -- and I hope that Mr. King will be accepting of this. We do have our standards here, as I'm sure everybody can see, and whilst dating agencies might be a dime a dozen online, there is only one part of the interwebs which is : , and, to that, I give thanks and

Now, then, my darling Great-Grandbaby Brother Larry: I do hope that you do not truly think of our blessed Sisters Joanna and Basilissa as being "petty". Heavens to Betsy! Since I have given our sisters much-needed support here, especially that from the perspective of an elderly lady of substantial means, I would hope that my words are not, also, taken to be "petty". Gracious me, we do have to be careful, you know; especially with online situations. But, you can always confide in me and let me know if you think that Joanna, Basilissa and I are really "petty", or if that was just a careless slip of the tongue, and one that you regret deeply. That reminds me: as I was dusting the epergnes this morning, a "For Larry" tag fell from one of the sterling silver ones. When I retrieved it and put it back in its place, I was reminded of where this shall be finding its way some day, and of how much you will enjoy having it -- should you still wish to have it.

Re: A brother in christ, seeking a real christian wife

Scott, while it would be 'great' the Church would parade eligible, virgin females across a stage and let you look under the hood like you would at a car dealer but females are not something you can buy. God must provide.
That moment when a female is able to catch a mans eye and not disgust him is a magical time. A clean home, good food and silence with none of that hen like cackling. Wide hips for bearing strong male sons. Knowledge of the difference between a telephone and an iron. And most important, having read the Bible and following it. Everyone has a place in God's plan. A woman's place is in the kitchen and tending to a man's needs.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
