    Introduction

    Ok, so let's introduce myself.

First of all, I came on this site while I was searching for pictures of corpsepaint (face painting used in black metal to resemble the deceased) and I saw a picture which redirected me to a comment made on hear years back about the 19 signs your child listens to black metal. It made me laugh so hard I just had to see where these judgemental views on metal and metal liking kids came from, so I started browsing this forum. And well there was so much to comment about so I picked the latest.
You see I strongly believe that everyone has a story and a reason for his believes and I also strongly believe that one should respect those believes eventthough you do not agree. So I started out with some questions because I am very curious where these narrow-minded views came from and why you all think yourself as superior to the rest of the world and the rest of your fellow christians.
I do like to state in front that I do not visit any church nor have I got interest in becoming a follower of any. I do have knowledge over the Bible and and I found the interpretation on the biblical words used here rather creative to say the least.

Well, to the forum, dear! You see, the thing is that we do not interpret the Bible here. We read it as is, we understand it as it is written, and we obey it 100%.

If you can find something written by a True Christian(tm) on this forum that contains "creative" rather than literal understanding of the Bible, please feel free to point to it!

What a very curious worldview you have, dear. Do you really think we should respect pedophiles and arsonists and vegans, despite their hatred for Jesus? Do you think we should respect those who persecute innocent people, like Christians who are going about our day in peace and harmony, simply warning hell-bound heathens that they are on the road to perdition and if they don't turn their lives around and make right with Jesus soon they might as well sleep under a sun lamp for the night because it will get them accustomed to the heat in Hell?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Oh, well! There's the problem, Dear. You've turned your back on , and you've slammed the door in wondrous Face. I might compare this to running a race: you're at the starting line, the gun goes off to signal the start of the race, and then you decide that you're not going to run because you don't think you will win. Where does that type of thinking get a person?

Now, then, if you turn the illustration around, by approaching that starting line, and giving the exercise the very best that you can give, then you will find that not only have you shown determination, but you've also given yourself a tremendous lead in winning that race.

And, so it is when it comes to studying the and learning about the love of the and , . But, all is not lost. You're in the right place, with your arrival to : . I see that our much-beloved has made a comment to you, and it is my prayer that you will take his fine words to heart, Dear.

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of glory.

Psalm 25:5 "Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day."

Psalm 86:11 "Teach me thy way, O ; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name."

But does what you believe matter to God?

I would take offense at the term "narrow-minded" here but the views discussed on our forum are informed by the Holy Bible. This begs the question of whether you think that the Bible is "narrow-minded".
I do like to state in front that I do not visit any church nor have I got interest in becoming a follower of any.
That may not be an answer that causes our hearts to rejoice but it is a clear response to a direct question. And that is something that many visitors to our site seem unable to provide. Points in your favor, young fellow.
I do have knowledge over the Bible and and I, found the interpretation on the biblical words used here rather creative to say the least.
Do you, indeed? Well, the only thing that I can say here is Bring. It. On. Let's see what you got.

              Re: Introduction

Hello and welcome to the forum. I noticed some of your posts about the metal. Christians have no interest in that sort of thing. EMO's and goths and the dubstep and punks and everything else of that sort are, however, very interesting to their progenitor. Satan.

But there is a bright side, described in Luke 15:7, 10 where God explains about the joy in Heaven when one of them repents. If there was nothing for them to repent from, they would already be Christians. If they were Christians they would not be listening to metal. Since they do listen to it and obsess over it and the punk and the hardcore and electro-swing etc., it's not a question of judging but simple observation: they dis Jesus and therefore need to repent.

Hope you're able to discuss further- it's good to see someone with questions about God and the answers He provides in The Bible.
