Re: Приветствие! Welcome!
And why did you remove the links to our Brotherhood and slander us?
here's what was on the links:
===================================
Modernity
Even after 1991, the ECB remained an extremely conservative and isolated movement. In the 1990s, converts began to come to ECB communities as a result of preaching on the streets, in schools, and in hospitals, and distributing free ECB Bibles and magazines in evangelistic tents. The ECB is engaged in missionary activities in most regions of Russia, there is even a national mission among the peoples of the Far North.
The "initiators" have a distrust and dislike of Western liberal and modernist evangelical missionaries and are afraid to send their representatives to study abroad. In their opinion, Western Protestants are associated with a depraved culture. At the same time, Initiativniki cooperates with some conservative Western organizations, in particular, with the German mission Fridstimme, which invites them to its conferences and supplies them with literature.
The ECB MSC communities still do not accept state registration. "A hallmark of the followers of the sun remained and remains a waiver of any contacts with the state and intervention in any political issues, because, in their opinion, it is sure to put believers before the problem of the subordination of iniquity. If not godless, the requirements of the state, " - says religious scholar R. N. Lunkin [9].
On July 15, 2007, the head of the International Union of Evangelical Christian Baptist Churches, Gennady Kryuchkov, died in Tula at the age of 81 after a heart attack a year and a half ago. [10]
In January 2008, the Council of Churches appointed Nikolai Stepanovich Antonyuk, who represented the Caucasian Association of the Moscow Orthodox Church, as interim chairman. On 10 October 2009, he was elected Chairman of the ECB's 6th MSC Congress. [11]
