    I want to be saved!

hello worshippers of God. I am a man determined to see the kingdom of heaven, but I don't know where it is. What do I have to do to get there? I believe that it involves not sinning, but the thing is, I don't know what sin is. I could be sinning right now and I don't even know it! That scares me, because I do not wish to burn eternally. Can one of you here tell me what sin is, such that for every thing I do, I can determine whether or not it is a sin? I want to be able to stop whatever sins I may be doing so that I can be in heaven and not in the fires of hell. Your help would be very much appreciated.
    Thank you,
    A seeker

Well, hello to you, dear Mr. Seeker, and We are truly happy that you have found within this vast, tangled and complicated interwebs galaxy. As you say you are a seeker, I do believe that the self — has sent you our way. Have no fear, Dear; help is on the way!
You have asked what sin is. I can think of no better answer than that which is written — so clearly — within the glorious :

James 4:17 "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."

There you have it, basically. If you are doing wrong, when you know that what you are doing is wrong, then you are sinning. Refusing to admit that sin infests your life is an example of sin — willful disobedience to Almighty !

    I John 1:8-10:
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Turning to the — is the only way to rid yourself of the stains of your sins. Once you are thoroughly washed in the blessed of , then your sins are blotted out.

Romans 5:9 "Much more then, being now justified by , we shall be saved from wrath through ."

With that in mind, I should caution you about seeking salvation in other churches out there. is the only place where you will find the real truths that are contained within the . We do not mince our words here, and we do not use watered-down scriptural references.

I do hope that I have not "gone on" for too long, Dear. We are here to help you, and I am more than certain that our many, fine members will be only too happy to be of assistance to you, in your hour of need.

May bless you, as you seek — here, at .

Thank you very much for your reply. So from what I understand then, sinning is simply doing what I feel is wrong? And if I just do what I feel is good, then I'm heaven bound?

Short answer: No. Longer answer: Read the Bible. God kinds lists all manner of sins and abominations so that you can avoid them. Most important point to keep in mind is to bathe in Our Savior's Blood. That's how you get rid of pesky sin and gain entrance into Heaven.

Re: I want to be saved!

Not only is it important to seek, but to follow what is found. Salvation may not be discovered snurfling around in the mire, as David well understood:
Psalm 69:14-15 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

Underneath the surface whatever may exist there The Bible directs us to avoid and to be delivered in Him. What secularist ever created a universe? When we see the stars or more particularly the spaces between them, we know that our grasp is limited and day by day we affirm the truth of God's revelation measured in inches or light-years or megaparsecs confirming the boldness of revelation long ago, now understood, that if there were infinity stars there would be no blank spaces.

You are very welcome, dear Mr. Seeker; however, I am afraid that your idea of sin is not correct. It's not what you feel is right that matters. Sin is that which offends the . You were born in sin, like all humans. There is no way to get around the fact that you were a sinner when you were born.

Psalm 51:5 " Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me."

Your sin will separate you from — for eternity. Instead of assuming that you are going to Heaven, you must accept that without asking as your , and by confessing your sins and repenting of them, then you are headed for an eternal home in the raging fires of .

Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in ."

The only way to avoid your fiery fate is to turn to . Turn, or burn — it's really very simple.

John 14:6 " saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

I do hope that this helped to clarify the situation, Dear. And, I see that some of our other servants of have offered helpful messages to you.

Seeker--You have come to the right place to gain heaven. We here at Landover Baptist Church are the leading experts on sin. But, I need to make a gentle criticism of your approach.

You are not revealing anything about yourself. Tell us all about you and we can help determine if you are living the holy life that admits the faithful to heaven. For example, we need know if you are tithing. There is the big issue of sex, are you cavorting with members of the same sex?

There are several other sins that will ban you from heaven. We can help you rid yourself of these.

As the Mayor says, if you are serious about your life's mission you have come to the right place. Atheism has nothing to offer but scented candles and Wellness Webinars™, which provide hollow comfort compared to reading the exact word of God. Read it, believe it, follow it.

They claim secular credentials but their master is vain. Satan just has to reveal himself, advocating trips into the forest where his true agenda is exposed. It's no surprise that any of these ventures are promoting scented candles. What could be more off-putting when visiting a prospective Church member's home than to have the fumes? Some of these things are like boiling oil, you can smell them half a street away! Occult shops evidently sell a wide range of "fragrances" about as subtle as nitric acid to the carotid artery – in these last days it's so important to be alert and invitations to "forest parties" should always be declined.

Hello Mr Mayor, you are right, and I'll tell as much as I can about myself. I used to live a normal life, but now essentially all I do is sit and stare at the wall all day. I've been afraid to do anything, because I think God is trying to kill me. I was hoping that if I stopped sinning his wrath would subside, but I didn't know what exactly was sinful, so I resolved to do nothing at all, with the thought that if I'm doing nothing, I can't be sinning. But this has not succeeded in abating his wrath. In fact, things have gotten worse. Whereas previously I only had to worry about his anger outside (almost getting hit by cars, falling tree branches, giant hail stones, lightning strikes, attacked by swarms of wasps), now I'm not even safe hiding away in my house. Snakes have started coming out of my toilet, and I'm worried about what he might have in store for me next.

Which is why I was wondering what exactly is a sin or not, because evidently I'm still doing something wrong. I hear now that I'm supposed to be bathed in the blood of christ, but I don't know how I'm supposed to go about doing that...

I'm not entirely sure what brought his wrath upon me, I can't think of what I might have done. The day before this all started was just a normal day, the only memory I have of it was watching the movie Zootopia, but I don't see how it could have anything to do with all this.

Please help me, I can't take his anger any more

                        Correct - God despises idleness:

Proverbs 18:9 - He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.

Proverbs 21:25 - The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.

2 Thessalonians 3:10 - For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
