The sooner you learn this, the better. It took me almost 3 years to learn, and I'm just now a decent Christian. Being respectful doesn't mean not asking any questions, it means asking questions in a polite and serious way. For example, you don't want to say "wut did jezus ever do 4 me?!?!?!?!?". You want to say "Please explain to me how Jesus' previous presence on Earth continues to impact my life." See? It's all in how you say it.
