Well...if there is a country you shouldn't judge the entire Europe upon, it's definitely Romania. Frustrated poor people who had had one of the worst regimes in history and still find it incredible to be able to watch color TV and have a dial-up connection...

My question to you is this: if a christian is harmed, should he turn the other cheek or should he fight back? I guess the Bible is a bit ambiguous on this matter; does the NT ("turn the other cheek...etc") trumps the OT ("eye for an eye...etc")?

Both are true friend, a good Christian follows all of God's words, not the bits he likes. A Christian should fight against sinners, period end of discussion. If they do not seek God, God commands they be destroyed without mercy. Now if a good Christian is injured by another good Christian then the injured good Christian should turn the other check and not hate the offending good Christian. As for the offending good Christian should get ready to have his eye torn out of his screaming body. We practice this at Freehold and the number of eye patches in Sunday worship are a glad thing to God!

That is what Jesus would want.
