And Captain A. Portway, are you talking about me? I'm sorry you must misunderstand me. I don't mean to troll, just to talk. And if you must know, I am an 18 year old teenager and a senior in high school. Kind of stereotypical, no? The teenager and his rock music and long hair. :p I love sports, I played football for four years and started varsity my junior year, I have run track for two, and im pretty darn good and powerlifted this year until i got hurt. Ive recently taken up boxing and Ill compete in that this upcoming month. Other than sports, I like to discuss imporant things like what we talk about on this message board. Religion, philosophy, science, whatever. I like to hear every side of the story, and judge no one. I dont know, I guess its just a hobby or interest or something. Nearly all of my friends are Christians and they know I am agnostic. We poke fun at each other all the time for laughs. I am a member of FCS and FCA (fellowship of christian studens/athletes) at my school. I know you are thinking this is hypocritical, but I don't detest Christianity, in fact, my grandfather is a pastor and owns a church. I still get useful knowledge from Christianity despite my being agnostic. I take a little bit from all walks of life. I live and let live.

No, nobody would call it chronologically correct.

The dinosaurs drowned in the Flood, over two thousand years before God came to Earth as Jesus so He could sacrifice Himself to Himself and forgive our sins. Everybody knows that!

ah, yes, youve caught me in a hypocrisy. Ill also point out another hypocrisy ive made. I said i am in no way a Christian but I still say that I can take meaningful lessons from it. Contradictory, I know. Im not perfect, sorry. Yes, I do stand by the ignorance comment and yes, I do try not to judge. Im not perfect and I apologize. I do, however, accept your right (and by your I mean anyone's) to believe in your faith no matter how absurd I find it. I find faults in religion and also redeeming qualities. As for this endless bickering between us, I think it is pointless. Im going to stop being so false and stop veiling my "heathen" beliefs and intentions with kindess now.

I have a question for you, ezekiel, and everyone else that is so ready to condemn me for not being Christian. would you really be this way to me in real life? if you met me in the grocery store, would you hate me? From the heart, honest, I really only have understanding and compassion for you if youre willing to take it. And i KNOW that you are taught to love thy "enemy". I know because I was a Christian for nearly all of my life! Gandhi himself said that "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." I feel the same way as him.

Im a person too. With feelings and emotions. I may not look at the world the same way as you, but I think that we can all learn something from one of the world's most influential men, whose tolerance amazed and shocked those he encountered.

and as for "teachings" of agnosticism, yes, it is the religion of "I don't know" and I like that.

and lol at the scientology thing, Ive always like that picture and honestly as much as I detest blind faith in religion, Ill be honest with you, I cannot stand scientology. I still accept that they have their right to believe as they do, but I just plain out dont like that "religion." we should still treat them fairly though

This is not a grocery store. It is a forum for True Christians to gather and fellowship together. Non-believers are not welcome here, although we do our best to try to show you the Light of Jesus. Can you not see Him even though the words are right there in front of your face?

I don't go to the grocery store and ask everyone if they're a Christian. Usually, I can tell.

If you want to argue about religion you should go to college or move to Berkeley.

Pal, you need to be on your knees begging JESUS to be your friend. He's the best friend any boy could have!

Don't expect anyone to befriend you here. The Bible warns us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. Nothing personal, that's just how Christians live according to God's Divine Plan.

Ugh that is a relief. I wasn't sure if anyone would believe me. I honestly am sorry. I keep my same opinions, but Ive still learned something from talking to everyone here: not to be a hypocrite. Im glad you have forgiven me, Nobar. I know that you don't accept me for being what I am, but that, too, is your right. I really got off to a bad start, though.
