Coming back after a long vacation

So I was at my buddy Bob's house, and he mentioned something about your forums now having an App thing. I remember posting to these forums a long time ago. I can't remember my old login and I have been away for far too long enjoying my retirement. It's so strange to be able to use a phone to access something without those fangled modem things and dial up. Most young folks won't know what that is or the dangers they once posed to real Christians.

Just thought I'd drop in and say hey.

You might notice, we're more on fire for Jesus than ever.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Friends, thank you for your warm replies. It feels good to be among such like-minded soldiers of Christ.
I have a question on something called 'Secret Santa'.

My son's work (he works in an office) instituted this a number of years ago, and I am concerned for his safety.

Secret Santa is a homo Trojan horse where men are persuaded to buy Christmas gifts - for other men - and give them to each other with secrecy involved. In short, no-one knows who gives them a gift, so a gay could be using deception to buy my son a gift!

The Bible addresses secrecy and deception in several ways:

Genesis 3 illustrates the consequences of deception with the serpent's trickery of Eve, leading to the fall of man.

Proverbs 11:13 warns against secrets, stating that those who keep secrets will be exposed.

Matthew 6:4-6 emphasizes the importance of transparency in prayer, highlighting that God sees our intentions and actions.

Ephesians 5:12 warns against hidden actions, suggesting that integrity is crucial in all dealings.

I don't think I'm the only one to have issues here!

What are other people's views on this disgusting tradition? And do I have a genuine right to be concerned?

I mean, could this turn my son gay?

Others may also have advice, Mr. Green, but I'll pass along mine. Your concern is well placed. One cannot be too careful when homerism is everywhere.

My thought is that men exchanging gifts is OK but the message within the gift can be a problem. When men exchange gifts reflecting a shared manliness and heterosexuality the gift giving is a healthy thing. When a gift reflects homerism in the giver and suggests the beginning of a sinful relationship that is where Jesus steps in with His whip.

For example, when one man gives another a box of 30-30 deer rifle bullets it reflects Christian manliness. But, a sleeping bag may reference the homer movie Brokeback Mountain and be a flag of caution.

              Thank you, brother.

You know, my son does try to put my mind at ease with these things, and does keep reminding me that 'women' also work in his office, as cleaners or secretaries or whatever. I am not so easily fooled! Yes, this may sound like paranoia, but I am willing to bet that many of these so-called women are actually transgenderers in disguise! All dressed up in drag with the agenda of accessing female rest rooms, for whatever nefarious purposes they have!

I don't know about you fellas but I've never bought a present in my life. That's what a secretary - or if I'm married, the wife - is for. If we assume all gifts are bought by women then doesn't that eliminate the h*mosexual undertones? Perhaps we should require stickers on these gifts indicating that it was purchased by a woman so we know it's safe to give to another man. Satan works in devious ways and it takes extra vigiliance to stay on top of it all.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.
