Re: Praise Jesus..
Welcome Myron! What is your favorite Bible verse?
What do you hunt down Alabama way?Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Romans 8:1...There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Bless Jesus....

Re: Praise Jesus..
....I remember this one time about 20 years ago that this little girl of all about 19 or 20 asked to talk to me and she was in a dilemma. She was crying and carrying on about her paw being so upset about her being with a black boy. Now,keep in mind, our town is 99.8% hetero white. But I started thinking, and I remembered Matthew 28:19-20 which says, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."I told her "So it will be at the end of the age; the angels shall come forth, and take out the wicked from among the righteous," Matt 13:49 Long story short,I put the fear of eternal sin in that young lady and she moved on from that boy.She has since married and moved on.Originally posted by Ezekiel Bathfire View PostYou sound an excellent fellow Myron. Touching, Godly and inspiring BUT... I hope there is not going to be too many "Buts"... M't:28:18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
M't:28:19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
M't:28:20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
We only use the inerrant KJV1611 here. You also may have considered:
De:7:1: When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
De:7:2: And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
De:7:3: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
Anyhoo, what exactly do you think that God had in mind when He brought you here?sigpic

- ...Thank you and do accept my apology for not being computer savvy. My son and his family purchased this computer for me a few months ago and this is new to me.As for why He brought me here?I dont know but I do know that He has a purpose. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
I love Jesus and I know in my heart that I was led here for a purpose.Praise Jesus.

Welcome Myron
.
May God bless you,
Bryan.Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
