    Hello

Hi, my name is Nathan. I am 36 and have been married for 14 years. My wife and I have 4 children (Ashley-12, Joshua-10, Daniel-8, and Abigail-5), I live in Panama City, Florida. I teach a teen-age Sunday School class at my church, Cove Baptist Church. In addition to working in my church I also work full time and am a full time college student, I am working towards a degree in sociology/psychology. My favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20 " I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me, and gave Himself for me."

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and learning from all of you.

This is a soul stirring introduction. I personally appreciate your proper spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Obviously you are learning something in college!

It's wonderful to meet a Godly man such as yourself. I hope you learn much about True Christianity from the Pastors and True Christians.

There are a number of references that fully explain our beliefs. You have probably already found them, but if you need help be sure to let one of the Pastors know.

      Yours in Christ
      Brother Lazarus
In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. Genesis 1.1. This scripture is the first verse of the Bible for a reason. It lays the foundation for the absolute truth found in God's Holy WORD, the Bible.

        Re: Hello

Welcome Nathan - it is rare that we find such a promising Christian man from those beyond Landover with a way with words.

        My only concern is
I am working towards a degree in sociology/psychology.
Can you tell us how these subjects, which seem otiose in a Christian Life, relate to God and All His Works?

I used to know a guy named 'Nathan' on Coney Island, are you him?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
