    greetings all

I’d just like to introduce myself to the good old-fashioned Christian people of the Landover Baptist community. It's so refreshing to so many Truth preachers and tithers here in what is otherwise a filthy and degenerate den of loathsome, wormridden, hell-bound internet users!
You may call be Brother Buck. But not for long! By the grace of our Lord I’ve just begun joint doctorate work in both the fields of Baptistology and the broader, mind-expanding subject matter of Comparative Bible Versions. I feel, after all, that I must be aware of all damnable cults out there that are actively perverting the Truth of God’s perfect Word for us today: the King James Bible. Some day, by the grace of Jesus, you’ll all be referring to me as Dr. Buck Sexton! My professors tell me that I'm one of the brightest students to ever have enrolled at Baptist Truth Online University. I say this not to boast in myself, but to boast of the Lord's goodness! Praise Jesus! I am humbled that he has chosen me to confound the unsaved wordly-wise of this world.
I must say though, I was really shocked see "unsaved trash" underneath my name in my profile! I do not know what to think of this. The Lord knows I pay my 10 percent every week and I've never, ever used his name in vain. I think this simply must be a technical mistake. Can anyone explain?! Woowee! The devil is already after me, he must not want me preachin' the Word to the lost who may be on this forum.

    Fighting the good fight,
    Bro. Buck

Hiya Buck, welcome to the second best place on earth (first is Church of course).

Read the forum rules, that will answer allot of your noob questions like unsaved trash. But because I am so gosh darned Godly, I'll tell you why. Until a new registrant has proved themselves, the are considered unsaved. Eventually, you may become a Forum Member. Then when you are truly one of God's chosen, you are Saved® and become a True Christian™. Then there are a multitude of levels beyond that.

Mind your P's and Q's, read your Bible.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

We do not look upon ourselves as “old-fashioned”, we prefer True Christians™

There are True Christians™ serving God as He wishes and then there are “the rest”.

This seems singularly pointless; there is but one Bible, KJV1611, the rest are travesties of corruptions of distortions of a debased form of Godlessness.

If you name a few professors I’ll tell you what the Department of Faith thinks of them.

Anyhoo, welcome. I feel the Lord loves those why try.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. We may end up calling you "brother," but not until you've been washed in Christ's blood.

Have you read our Church Doctrines yet Buck?

I don't know that I've ever heard of "Baptistology" before. Can you explain that for us? Is it your intention of becoming a Pastor? If so, I highly recommend taking a look at our Landover Baptist University curriculum HERE.
