    Hello from me :)

    Hello, my name is Jennie
I have been reading for hours on this site now, and decided to register. I have believed in God, Jesus and the Bible for nearly 12 years now.
I must say, this is the FIRST TIME I have witnessed such true strength and conviction by those in church leadership, and equally too from those listed as True Christians. In my country there is no such place to belong and speak freely as you all do. For years I have sat in pews listening to lame and false preaching, watching the leaders compromise with the lifestyles of sinners, often embracing it even. My disgust became so great, I wandered from church to church, becoming more and more disillusioned and angry, til I could no longer try. Maybe in here, I can learn to trust the church again. Maybe here I can even learn to speak out against all that is not of God, without feeling threatened or attacked or silenced. I want to open my heart and listen to what God has to say, what the Bible says, for I am truly sickened by what the this disintegrating world is offering.
    1 Corinthians 11:3

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

      Re: Hello from me

Wow, that was a quick response to my post thankyou!!

Now to answer your questions as best I can.

I live in Australia (yes, I know ), just turned 40, was married, with my first born being a son, second child is a girl.

(I remember praying so hard that my first born was a son, funny you should ask, as it has meant so much to me over the years and not really understanding why.)
      1 Corinthians 11:3

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

I wonder if Austrian women bake pies like American ladies do?

            Re: Hello from me

Welcome to God's Favorite Forum(tm), my dear Jennie. I must say you look like such a lovely woman in your avatar. I can see the love for Jesus just radiating in your beautiful smile.

Now, you said you were married. Are you a widow or a divorcee? Hopefully not a divorcee since that would make you an adulteress in Jesus's eyes.

            Mark 10:11-12
And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

You know, Brother Ezekiel, I remember hearing that getting attacked by a koala bear is like getting attacked by a giant furry cough drop. I wouldn't suspect that those cute little fuzzy animals would attack; you would have to be really mean for one of those to jump on you and claw your face off.

                Thankyou again for more welcomes!

Trying to figure out what to say first..well let's see: On Koalas.
Most people who have never been here, imagine them to be as pets, cute and cuddly, like as often depicted in the Media (even as recent as the one from our Bushfires last year). Let me tell you, that this is NOT the case and footage like that is very RARE. In one of my residences I used to live in on an acre property there were koalas nearby and at night you could hear the low, rumbling growl and breathing...quite ominous in fact. Their claws are razor sharp, and most likely as dangerous as the larger bears in your country. They are protected species, according to the laws of the land, and shooting and eating one means fines and jail, so I know of no one who has been game enough to try.(however kangaroo meat is considered a delicacy, now sold legally and tastes like venison to a degree...quite hypocritical if you ask me)
PIES: I love to make pies, especially steak pie, and apple pie, which are the main favourites here. Have made many flavours, over the years actually. We love PIE too!!

On the more serious topic of marriage, my husband led a double existence...1. a happily married Christian man serving in Church and 2. a secret life of indulging in adultery for the whole extent of our relationship with no remorse to this date.
He has since divorced me, to continue his lifestyle of debauchery full-time. My children are now grown and left my care, and I have been with no man since. Part of my distrust and betrayal in church leaders came when I could get no straight Biblical answer in counselling I sought, as to where I stood before God and any hope of future giving love as a woman. Every translation of thr Bible was interpreted purely to meet their own gain, since I later found out not one, but two pastors had succumbed to adultery also and were thrown out of ministry.
I've been told all of these...
                (a) I can marry again since I committed no adultery,or filed for divorce.
                (b) I can marry again when he dies.
© I cannot marry ever again or bear anyone else's child.

So, in my life, it's just me and God, no man...I know not what else to do.
(God has always been there for me as comfort, even when I was angry at first that I gave out my heart in fullness, only to have it torn apart by the betrayal of our wedding vows.)
Anyway, though it feels embarrassing, I have been honest to you as I already respect the forthrightness and faith convictions in here. Maybe someone has some wisdom that will clarify matters one day.

Thankyou for making it all the more obvious to the readers, who the true men of God are in this place.
You are a self-proclaimed Jesus hater, so if you really think I am going to enter into conversation in my Intro thread regarding your vile, filthy fantasies of what you think I am, or wish me to be, you are sadly mistaken.

Pay no attention to the unsaved scum who infest this Godly forum, ma'am. Being God's favorite Church means that we draw plenty of hate from satan's minions.

As far as divorce goes, we are against it. Our Church has taken an active stance on an upcoming ballot issue in Godless California that I hope will be a harbinger of change all across God's favorite country (AMERICA!): Criminalize Divorce!

Have you asked yourself the hard questions, Jennie? What role did you play in driving your husband into the arms of his harlots? Were your pies up to snuff? Did you have a hot dinner on the table when he came home from a hard day's work? Does your kitchen floor sparkle? Did you allow yourself to be subjectified by him, as the Bible commands?

In my experience as a True Christian(tm) Pastor, I have found that these things are usually the woman's fault. If you need some private counseling, please click on the email link at the bottom of my signature. Confidentiality assured.

                        Re: Hello from me

                        Thankyou Pastor Ezekiel
I am amazed at the hateful, swift, and persistent attacks by the unsaved amongst all the threads I have visited so far. Yet, I'm encouraged also by the way the these attacks are handled, showing no tolerance for things against God.
I too, am against divorce and have been broken-hearted since the day my husband filed for divorce exactly one year after he left. I was informed whether I showed in court or signed or not, divorce is always granted here if one just writes incompatible differences. There are thousands escaping the sacred responsibility of marriage vows every day now based on this excuse. He obtained one in 10 mins flat without me even appearing.
The hard questions you mention, have been subject of my prayers since the first day of seperation and long after the divorce, and still to this day. I have tried to blamed myself in every way possible, thinking it must be my fault somehow. He has denied strongly that these reasons are anything to do with him leaving, finally admitting he has had a sexual addiction, since the age of 14 long before I knew him, and he needed a "perfect Christian wife and family home cover-up life" in which to hide it well. He left this cover-up purely because he was caught in the act one day. His father also has same affliction I found out a few years later. I feel duped, used and betrayed and try to deal with this as best I can with God's help.
                        1 Corinthians 11:3

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
