    Your pardon, please...

    Blessings upon those who read these words:

    A friend suggested I visit this forum.

    I believe his hope is that I shall gain some wisdom in my constant struggle against the Evils, which have plagued our society since the advent of innovation in Holy Scripture after the one, true version was written under the patronage of the most holy and puissant James Charles Stuart, King of England, Ireland and Scotland by the Grace of God.

    Upon undertaking a reading of several posts at random, I believe that my friend may have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to guide me here.

    I shall step back into the shadows until I have read more and have gained knowledge and wisdom thereby.

    May He who is set above all men guide thy thoughts;

      Welcome Mr Kane despite your flowery language. Tell us the congregation to which you belong and your favorite Bible verse.

      Sir, God managed to spell and punctuate the Bible to perfection and mastered the uppercase; attempt the same with your posts. Thank you.

        Welcome, Solomon. Hmmm, Solomon. You're not a Jew, are you? If you are, it's a problem we can fix if you're willing to admit your guilt for killing Christ and apologize to Him, but it will be a lot easier to save your soul if you're a gentile.

            Re: Your pardon, please...

            Blessings upon thee all;

            Firstly, I write as I was taught by my elders. Some have noted that I seem to belong to a different place and time, thereby.

            Northern New England was my place of birth and the Congregational Church played a large part during my childhood.

            I have traveled widely since becoming a man responsible for myself, and have seen corruption everywhere.

            So, at present, I am Unchurched, but do gather together with a small fellowship of the like minded. "Where two or more are gathered in His name..."

            If I had to chose one favorite passage, it would be John 11:35 - "Jesus wept."

            For He must be saddened by the state of Disgrace into which man has fallen.

            ..and to the man who asked about my name.

            Solomon is, indeed, a Hebrew name. They are a people, which have nothing to do with my own ancestry. My father was the chief steward who looked to the example of Solomon in his own decision making on the estate, which he oversaw.

            I believe he named me thus in hopes that I would become wise over the course of my years. It is a goal that I have, thus far, not attained in any great measure.

            May His blessings fall upon thee and thine. - Solomon
            Yours in Service - Solomon

                  Hehe... I would believe that the people translating the bible out of hebrew from the dead sea scrolls properly punctuated the bible. And now a days the almighty "Spell check"

                  plus why are we condemning people for their grammer when the whole point of speaking is not grammer but to convey a point? so shouldn't our focus be on the "point" ? not the grammer? and don't tell me we need grammer or else we wont get the point. You don't have to be a genuis to understand what he was implying. We understand three year olds without spell checking them first.

                    If you cannot adhere to the standard rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation inherent in God's favorite language (American!), then we will have to ask you to leave.

                      God's Favorite language? Well I believe that Hebrew would be considered God's Favorite language in that tense because the original Bible and Jesus' Teachings are in Hebrew.

                        Wrong. What about Greek and Aramaic (the language Jesus himself spoke)? Learn more about the history of the Bible before you dare criticize others, little girl.

                          Thank you, You are right about the greek and aramaic. Yet the old testament is written in hebrew. I thought you would know this being a pastor. . I believe i have a right to stand up for myself when i'm being criticized too.

                            Also Jesus was a jew, Which speak Hebrew, until the age of 12 he homeschooled. Jewish young men are required to go threw teaching's in hebrew. So wouldn't Jesus' spoken language be Hebrew, Than a secondary language of aramaic and greek?

                              If your grammar is poor, it is too easy to misunderstand what you are trying to say. In addition, if you don't care enough about what you are writing to make the effort to get it right, why should anyone else care enough about what you writing to read it?
