  • The Word of God is Me

Peace be upon you, my bretheren.

Yea, I say to you, verily I have been sent by Our Lord.

He has seen from His magnificent heights the dissent and mistaken theodicy of this hall of heresy and has asked me to take a short break and correct some misconceptions.

I trust you will all come to accept my Supreme Authority on doctrinal and biblical matters in due course.

Please excuse any formality or misunderstanding in the early stages, but I haven't conversed with live humans for several hundred years and I'm a bit rusty at it.

In Nomine Patri, et Fillii, et Spiritus Sancti,

    Yours in Christ.

    Thomas Aquinas
2 Peter 1:20: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Yea, like we're gonna believe some nutcase who thinks he's channeling Thomas Aquinas. You've got some delusions of grandeur, let me tell you.

      An infraction?

Pray tell, how is that post possibly infractable for anything?

In what way does it contradict the rules of the forum?

        There's a variety of offenses you've committed:

        1) Being a pompous ass.
        2) Acting as an impostor of a long-dead medieval theologian.
        3) Claiming that you are the Word of God. Pure heresy.
        4) Chanting a Satanic witchcraft spell on our forum.

You actually got off easy, so I wouldn't complain if I were you.

          Et tu, Brute!

Have you infracted yourself as well?

Gaining inspiration from the greatest theological thinker ever is against the rules?

Sorry, I missed that bit; maybe you could give me a link?

I find a little literary licence a good thing. The Word of God is somewhat obscured and many people find it helpful to have an authoritative voice on the subject.

          Luckily, I can assist.

I find most discussion sites open to discussing aspects of theology. If you just don't want discussion at all, then the entire concept of a firum seems a bit silly - you should just blog your reading of the Bible and let it be.

I take it you're a believer in Orwell's theory that ignorance is strength?

My appreciation of your generosity is matched only by the depth of that generosity.

Listen Tommy Boy, The Good Lord sometimes sends even a lowly woman divine inspiration when it's badly needed. His Most Holy Inspiration is telling me you are a teenager over compensating big words for lack of something else.
Don't worry, you'll probably grow until about twenty-one.
Another thing, this is a Baptist forum, not a spiritist center to channel dead catholics. Why don't you tell us who you really are and why you came to mock God and his followers.

Nursie, with the deepest disrespect in the world, I bet I'm older than your dad, so if you want to try playing silly games of whose dick is bigger, I suspect you'll lose by a considerable margin. Please understand that I do mean that metaohorically, since I realise you are indeed genetically female.

Hey, I thought I might find a little intelligent life here among people who want to portray a simple message.

If sticking to God's Plan is so important to you that you're inflexibly fundamentalist, I repeat my earlier point - why have a forum at all?

I now know the answer to that - it's a masturbatory means of self-aggrandisement in the minds of the perpetrators. I thought there were even odds that some of the people here might understand that. I was introduced to the place by last Halloween's "Kill a spastic" thread, but it must be a rare ray of sunlight in the fields of bullshit in which you and your pals happily wallow.

Oh, and tell your buddy not to bother with banning me, I won't be returning.

                Have fun.

                Fail.

So, if you're older than my father (making you 80-something) I take it you're most likely rattling with dementia. I still say you're 19 max.
Also, you will return. It's a sad fact that you seek attention by speaking in circles to make people think you're of above intellect. Many of the boys I went to college with played the same game.

Thomas, instead of just coming here and trying to insult people, why don't you instead show off this intellectual prowess of yours by showing us how we fail to follow the Bible correctly. After all, you pompously proclaimed "I trust you will all come to accept my Supreme Authority on doctrinal and biblical matters in due course."

So Mr. Theologian, care to discuss the Bible or you just want to argue how many angels can dance on a pinhead?

For someone who seemed so determined in his introduction post, he certainly ran off quickly!!! Oh well, no love lost on this one!
