I was impressed by the quality and quantity of that blog.

Imagine my pleasure when you preach one of my childhood favorites - Gideon and the defeat of the Midianites and Amalekites because they were foreigners, gypsies and heathens. I had always liked the way that the story demonstrates that, whereas Gideon detested the the Midianites and Amalekites because they were thieving gypsy bastards, God detested them because they were not worshipping him. The two came together and, lo, His Wrath was upon them in a furious implementation of Godly Vengeance that wiped them out man, woman, and child; problem solved!

PS I am also delight to read in the blog your pointing out that it so important we love one another. This is true but often forgotten.

Wow, so many reading my blog already. Strange I didn't find other Christian forums to be that responsive! It's midnight for you guys right?

What I want to get out of this forum? New readership for my blog and meet people I guess.

I am impressed by the speed you read. You got so deep into my blog already.

And in that case the Israelites merely drove out the foreigners, they didn't kill the women, boy, girl and the whole nine yards. Analogy: Wouldn't the U.S. drove out the enemies if they found them in the U.S. soil??

I fear, in our fervency of the Love of The Lord, we have both erred. I in my utter destruction of the Midianites (In Judges, Moses merely killed the males, which makes you wonder how there were any more Midianites left in Numbers for Gideon to deal with) and you when you say

I don’t know about the post, but in your blog, the answer is in your final paragraph:

First, practice the way of love, for he who has the love of God has no reasons to fear anything or stumble in darkness. (1 John 2:10; 1 John 4:17-18) Ultimately, the commandments to love God and love others will make you bullet proof!

As far as driving out enemies, I think it is Godly to go even further and drive them out of anywhere. We should aspire to defeat God’s enemies at every opportunity.

Just to test you to see if you have read till the end lol, not only did you finish that post, you even got to the Israelite fighting the foreigner part.

Wars without God always ended up many times more brutal. You know who killed the most Chinese people? Chinese people!!!

Left to ourselves and our BIG governments, more people would be killed. Governments are the number one killer in history, not God, don't you think so?

The number one reason of death has always been murders by governments. But humans want human to rule, not God, and that's the sad result of putting humans above God.

Yes, I admit that God kills people, in fact, He once sent 2 bears to maul teenagers/Children? to death (2 Kings 2:24) I believe God still takes life today whenever He see fits.

God judge, punish, and even kill to keep us at bay, so we don't get too crazy and destroy each other to extinction.

The Old Testament God is the New Testament God, no difference.

I am amazed that you have posted 355 posts and yet still just a forum member here, perhaps you are not pious enough by Landover Baptist standard.

As for Christian woman's perspective? I am not sure. I better get a wife soon to know that. You know what? I am waiting for the little girl in my profile pic to grow up so I may propose to her, just in case God hasn't come to catch us real Christian up in the Rapture yet at the time.

Because our church has attracted many, many enemies, there is a lot of misinformation about us. Some people doubt our truthfulness because they claim "How can anybody believe that stuff?", other people say we are a cult, some people actually come to our town to protest against our church, etc.

People are threatened by our church because they don't like our message. We are honest and straightforward about presenting the Word of God to people.

I also think it's very sad that your only goal on here is to earn medals and get a title. Your goal should be salvation through Jesus Christ. Why are you so consumed with earthly rewards and egotism?

My apologies, Kitty, for assuming from your avatar that you are female. I had forgotton about the fascination Japanese men have for little girls. My bad.

As for my piety, I am a work in progress. Thanks to the loving guidance of the LBC faithful, I have come a very long way. Would you believe I was actually a Catlick when I first came here?
