Hello there

Hello there Landover Baptist. My name is actually Mike, and I am from Canada.

I am a second year university student. My parents were very Christian my entire life, which was fine for myself as a young child, however through my teen years I found it very difficult to remain sin-free and followed the often simpler path of rebellion.

Last year though I started coming full circle with Christianity and I now believe that God is the only true path. As my name states however I am only one of God's many students, and still have a lot to learn. Hopefully I've found a great place to learn

Hey there!, Not to worry about the Canadian part, I like to see it as just a little north of the mark

I am not really sure which bible verse may be my absolute favorite, I regretfully haven't read the good book in it's entirety since I was about 6 or 7 years old, and am only about halfway through it now.

I live in a small community so there are not many churches, but I attend the First Baptist church down the street.

I have never heard of "The First Baptist Church Down the Street".

It sounds like a euphemism for a brothel, to be honest. It is like people who "go down there". I suspect this may be a God mocker.

He has also admitted to breaking an important Commandment:

Exodus 20:12 Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

It is surprising, really, because the Ten Commandments are the most copied parts of the Bible. You can find them on buildings, in restaurants, on cars, etc. It's hard to miss. Perhaps the father was incapable is disciplining his child?

I'm with you, friend. If his parents were "very Christian", than why would they have their child in Canada? (one of the many pathways to Hell)

Plus, everyone knows that Canada doesn't really have any True Christians.

Please don't be so quick to hate... I live where God put me on this earth as it was ultimately his decision not mine. Who am I to question God's will?

GOD=Life Did you even bother to read my first post? Yes I have sinned, as I admitted, I hide nothing from the Lord nor his people. I am new to the kind of dedication to the lord that I live by today, but don't take my word for it, ask our Lord and Savior if there is room for me in his heart. I know there is, for the bible tells me so.

And really....Down the street means I literally live down the street, that seems fairly logical yes? My pastors name is Doug Baynton.

Sweden is a Godless country. My nephew Zebulun went there last year to do a survey of "Attitudes towards God's Love amongst young ladies" and stayed in Lindkoping, where he was bitten to death by mosquitoes and beset by fluffy-bunny false Christians. However, he did manage to gather a few around him whom, he said, "Looked promising."

(Sorry about that, most photos with him on his travels seem to have his face blurred. It is for this reason he never shows any of them to his wife.)

See how we "dumb folk" can pick up such signs? You are not being sloppy as your punctuation is otherwise impeccable. The only thing you were sloppy with is that you couldn't bear to capitalize His and Bible. Oh well.

I am starting to think this site isn't for me after all. I have never heard of anyone capitalizing the word 'His' before, even when associated with God, although it is true I was sloppy with the word Bible and forgot to capitalize it.

I can't help that your screen name is GOD=life, which suggests that life is equal to GOD; Why did you not put GOD=LIFE ? Do you think GOD is any less important when thought of in your particular metaphor? Please stop harassing me, as you can see by the error you yourself made we are all only human and make simple mistakes. In my opinion yours is much larger than mine but as Jesus has taught me I forgive you, perhaps you should practice a little of this sort of Christianity yourself, hm? I also notice you joined only 2 days before myself (today in fact).

Does anyone know if this one's intentions are on track, or perhaps he is one of these 'athiest trolls' you speak of trying to scare away members?
