    Greetings!

Hello dear brothers, I'm overjoyed to see many fellow Christians here spreading the word of God. I'm Alonsus, but you may call me Al for short. I've come to known Christ and accepted him as my personal Lord and Savior roughly 12 years ago. Before that, I was a juvenile delinquent, frequenting in fights and constantly receiving suspension from school. The locals looked down at me with despise for I was a hoodlum, however our church never shunned nor gave up on me. They was invited to a retreat camp that summer. I joined initially for the sole reason that there was free food and lodging, and it was the only thing that appealed to me. For five days we spend most of our time in prayer and bible study, which I found quite interesting, there I was able to learn about the life and works of Christ. On the third day I made the choice to make him my personal Lord and Savior.
I've never regretted that decision as it was able to change my life.
I'm a true believer and willing to dedicate my life to the service of the Lord. Praise be to God!

I currently attend chuch at St. Joseph's parish as it is the closest to my place of residence in Seattle, Washington. I also volunteer there as a guidance counselor for teens. I've yet to be married however, I'm afraid I've yet to meet her (and it explains the feeling that there is a rib missing in my body).

How fortunate for you that God gave you the extra character-building challenge of addiction to Satan's plaything.

Your 'location' lies within the fantasy land known as WORLD OF WARCRAFT and I believe you came here not to share your faith, but to mock Jesus.

Trolls like you show up here all the time. Kids who can't waste enough time playing with their World of WarCraft naturally gravitate toward activities where they can spread their seeds of evil.

Repent, young sinner, or know that the coals are being stoked for you at this moment!

Yes, however our small group attends there for bible study (using our KJV of course) and we are not disturbed by the others and their rites. On the contrary most are open to hear what we have to say and allow themselves to be accept Jesus into their hearts as well. We always mention that prayer alone will not lead to their salvation, and we have spread the good news

                    Re: Greetings!

Alonsus, well that is quite a mouthful. Mind if I call you Al? Aw, you are too kind, thanks!

So Al, nice of you to join our little congregation. I see you have led a troubled life but may finally be a righteous path to Salvation©. You have no idea how that warms the cockles of my heart to hear a success story.

Tell me Al, what passage in the KJV1611 Bible do you find most relevant for todays troubled youth?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Let us see what our Lord has to say.

                      1.Psalm 4:2
How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame ? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods ?

                      2.Psalm 40:4
Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.

                      3.Jeremiah 13:25
This is your lot, the portion I have decreed for you," declares the LORD, "because you have forgotten me and trusted in false gods.

                      4.Jeremiah 16:19
O LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, "Our fathers possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good.

                      5.Amos 2:4
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Judah, even for four, I will not turn back {my wrath}. Because they have rejected the law of the LORD and have not kept his decrees, because they have been led astray by false gods, the gods their ancestors followed,

                      6.Romans 3:7
Someone might argue, "If my falsehood enhances God's truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?"

You best get right with Jesus!

I would always tell them to honor their father and mother as written in Exodus 20:12. "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee." Though most youths argue that their parents are not 'honorable' God's word does not state that clause. Should they find their parents misled, they should share the word of God and allow their parents to be saved. Troubles start at home, once the family is leading a Christian life, the youths will find trouble no more.

I agree wholeheartedly! Aside from the helpful verses you provided, we also mention the first of the two commandments from Exodus 20:3-4
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness that in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that in the water under the earth"
And through the glory of God, many have stopped their idol-worship and instead turn their worship and praise back to the Lord.
"Come my child, come into my room and we shall speak of Godly things.."

We take no part in their rites, and thus have no interest in them. We're more concerned of bringing people closer to God and let them learn that their rituals and prayers are for naught if they do not accept the Lord Christ into their hearts.
