    Introduction :)

My name is Mike and I have been raised Christian and I am apparently very lucky to have found this site. Read some of the threads and decided I wanted a hand in rattling the cages of [DEEP BREATH] joos, democrats, homers, obamites, witches, satanists, athiests..... you get the picture, I'm sorry to say that I don't have a favorite bible verse. I recently moved and no longer have access to a True Christian church, only a handful of liberal churches.

Son, we do not rattle anyone's cage. We Praise God. You sound quite racist, I hope I am wrong.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

      Re: Introduction

I am increasingly irritated by those who think that True Christianity™ is about disliking people. This is not God’s Mission Statement at all. His message is clear, “Do what I say.”

There’s so much more in the Bible than separating a sinner from his earthly body. The Bible is all about
      (i) love for your neighbour, where your neighbour is defined as “another True Christian™”, and
(ii) showing others where they fall short of God’s Glory and are thus
(iii) basically unworthy of The Kingdom of Heaven.

Only then, when they have been deconstructed, can they be built into a vessel suitable for Life Eternal at The Right Hand of God.

Mike, tell us about yourself. How old are you? How did you come to find Jesus? Why is it that you don't attend Church?

Please don't keep joos and homers in cages, the Bible implores us to follow secular laws which forbid keeping others in cages. Also God tells us not to be yoked with unbelievers, by keeping them on your property and in cages you are forcing yourself to feed them, clothe them, et cetera, effecting a yoke between them and you.

So you hate almost everyone, hm. True Christians love everyone and try to guide them on the right path to eternal joy in Heaven. I am not sure you arrived at the right place Mike.

I have to concur with COM: we do not hate people.

If you want to hate people, become an atheist. They are very good at hating people.
I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
              Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Sorry if I sounded racist, I only meant that most of them seem to be thrown through a loop when a kernal of truth enters their lives, and it seems to happen a lot around here. Yes I have read the bible, just haven't selected a favorite verse yet.

Sorry for the double post but I do attend church, I'm just slightly disappointed with the ones nearby. Rattling their cages wasn't meant as an insult, again I am sorry if it came across that way. I do not hate any of them, I promise.

Which Church do you attend? Have you actually read the Bible cover to cover? How could you not have a favorite verse or two if you had?

Where are you in your Walk With Jesus©?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.
