No, I am not a linguist, I have just learned to speak proper English. It really helps you out when you are communicating with important people, and interviewing for jobs and so on. Although, I have studied Spanish for about 7 years, and I can't tell you how important that was when I lived in New England for a summer. You would probably scoff at the thought of doing something so wasteful, but if you think about it, if they keep jumping the boarder and coming over legally, Spanish is going to be as important as a college degree.
Oh and of course Jesus channeled my new username through the fingers of Pastor Zeke.
And what exactly is sexual about inquiring how I will be skinned alive and beaten??

Spanish is going to be as important as a college degree.

I agree that they should have to learn to speak English, but it's not really an issue for them. Have you been to New England? Miami? LA? They don't need to know English. To be in some parts there, you need to know Spanish. I went to an ATM to get some cash, and the screen that told me to select a language was in Spanish. That's just how it is.

Actually Spanish has decided if it is male or female. It is dependent on who is talking and who they are talking to. Also verbs change 6 ways to better suit different types of conversations. If you as me, it is a more advanced language than ours. However, simplicity was never a bad thing.
