    Hi all.

    Hi there,
My name is Giovanni, and I live in eastern Iowa. I just recently took a road trip to visit the one True Christian&trade church, the Landover Baptist Church. I used google directions for where the church was, using the information given in the 'noobs' thread and was shocked to see the building described was in all actuality called "EFCO", and apparently deal with concrete forming. I talked to some of the locals, and they claim that this building has been established as EFCO's now for quite some time. I didn't believe them since in the aforementioned thread Des Moines was described as a sinful and repugnant place, so I wrote them off as all liars. Can someone here please shed some light on where one may really find the Landover Baptist Church? Do you have the building signed as EFCO, so as to keep the coloreds away since, as we all know, they wouldn't be caught anywhere near any type of work? Or have you simply relocated and not informed those, like myself, that would love to make a journey to visit their beloved church?

    God bless you all
    Gio

    Re: Hi all.

And before it is asked of me.

-I was born to Christian parents, although they did not follow word for word. At the age of 16 I started wondering, what is the TRUE word of God. So I studied, and read every alleged holy book I could find, as surely, one of them HAS to be correct. None of them made sense to me, but for the Bible. And so, I have squandered every waking moment of my life, for the hope of an eternal afterlife.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

I go there every week, you must have done something wrong. It's in Freehold, Iowa and it's impossible to miss.

Yes, I know where it is kind sir. I went down the road. When I was there, I took note of the building, described exactly as it was in the post "Thinking of moving to Freehold". I even went home and got on google earth again to make sure and I saw there was a street view down that road. I can post the building with the sign on it if you'd like.

This seems highly unlikely to me. Perhaps God for some reason does not want you to find it.

I would hope that he would leave it into you hands to cast me away if I'm not fit to worship at your church. I have lived my life by his word, so I see no reason for him to smite me so, but who am I to question God's will.

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
                  Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

They are not, my lady. The name came from how they met. My father, Joseph, met my mother, Mary, while he was on vacation. He made many trips to North Carolina in his younger days, and would always make a point to visit a restaurant there called Giovanni's. On one trip, thank the Lord, he met Mary, who was a server at the restaurant, they exchanged numbers and two years later she moved to Iowa to be with him the rest of her life.

Thank you for your concern, I have as much disdain for Catholics as I do for the rest of the false religions, so I would have asked the same question.

I most certainly do not. I tried using one a few years back on a trip up to the mountains of Pennsylvania, and I ended up chunking it in the next dumpster I saw as it was useless, and had me going in every direction but the right one. I'm certain I was in the exact location that was described in the thread I mentioned because not only did I see it in person, but google earth and google street view have verified this.

I am shocked and appalled at your post it took me a minute to gather myself and respond in a proper way. First, Iam not you lady. Second I find it hard to believe that a True Christian Father would give his son a Catholic name. I know I shouldn't talk back to men,and it is not my place to question them, but I have a very hard time believing your a Christian man.
