Try John 3:16, and also the verses in Corinthians where the Apostle Paul speaks of the love of God. The bible is an incredibly moving book, and I find it silly to only focus on one aspect of it as so many here do. You seem to only focus on the verses that speak of hate, burning, and damnation, when there are so many verses that speak of the love of God, and how good he is.

I'd be much more convinced of your argument if you would take the bible as a whole, and not just your favorite hell-torching verses. However, since you seem to be so happy with people going to hell, I think I'll just please you all by sending myself there anyways.

I have no idea were you gamertards get these stupid ideas gods somehow surviving their own deaths, going in hiding until their return when they and their followers will kill everyone else but as a TRUE Christian I find it the biggest load of stupidity I have ever heard.

Again, not a gamer, as the concept of Cthulhu for what I am sure you're referencing to be "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth," existed long before the concept of video games. The game is adapted from H.p Lovecraft's classic-horror story "The Call of Cthulhu," an early 19th Century literary classic.

But can't you see how Cthulhu is an analogy for Jesus Christ, who died and was risen again, while his followers go out and convert others in his name? Then when he returns again, he will destroy the world, and remake it for his followers, while the unbelievers perish. It is possible that Lovecraft may have been a Christian, and was using the Call of Cthulhu in a last-ditch attempt to convert wicked homers like myself.

Odd. The whole foundation of this forum is that we read and use the entire Bible. Different parts of the Bible deal with different situations. You cannot expect every part of the Bible to deal with all situations. That would be logically impossible.

Why are those verses in there then? You want us to just skip the verses that you find inconvenient? Are you God? No.

My father is a manipulative, womanizing hedonist, and my mother is an evangelical Christian who preaches the words of God through the radio. We remain very close, and while she will never advocate my lifestyle, she will always love me, and hopes I repent one day.
