    Re: A humble introduction

The truth is this, friends. My betrothed (yes, he managed to pay my father the down payment) had posted a vile pornographic image somewhere on this Godly forum and when I he ordered me to defend him, the wise moderators noticed that I'd hidden the truth of my whereabouts and as my IP is the same as Philippe's, I was assumed to be a clone account.

I have confessed to Pastor Ezekiel and proven myself sorry for my lie. I do not want to lie but as I am yet unsaved, I'm afraid it is in my nature. I only hope that someday Jesus will no longer hate me for it.

Truth is, I am in Belgistan for a 'trial period' of three months. Since I am the only child in my family that still communicates with our father, he is not too keen on lending me out for any longer length of time yet.

Thank you, Pastor Ezekiel, for lifting my ban. I promise to read my KJV thoroughly, focus on my womanly duties and above all, to love Jesus and prove myself worthy of his love in return. I am truly fortunate for finding this wholesome forum.

    God bless all of you.

I am very glad about that!

Praise Jesus and welcome, friend. What's your favourite Bible verse?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

That's an difficult question, Brother Temperance. Every day I find something new in the Bible that puts me in awe. Today, however, while cleaning the house, I set my Mp3 player to read Proverbs 31:10-31 over and over and I must confess that I felt the need to pause in my work to cry tears of joy. God is wise indeed. I only hope that with enough dedication I may become a virtuous woman.

I know that it is a rather long verse but I feel the Lord telling me to quote it here so that other women may see it and benefit from His wisdom.

          Proverbs 31: 10 - 31

10: Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11: The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12: She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13: She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14: She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15: She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16: She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17: She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18: She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19: She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20: She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21: She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22: She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23: Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24: She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25: Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26: She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27: She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28: Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29: Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30: Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31: Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Those are great teachings, Sister! A wise choice for a young woman. Philippe is a lucky man!
            Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
            Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

            Amen.

                Re: A humble introduction

Brothers and Sisters, I apologize for my long absence but running the household has left me little time for socializing!

I was wondering if any of you might know of a good, cheap or free household management software that could help me to not forget anything. I've seen the household binders and while I love the idea, I fear that paper organizers have never worked for me.

I'm looking for something that I can use in much the same way as those household management binders. Any ideas?
