After spending many years in unhappiness I have found the Lord and wish to further my knowledge, reading some of the posts on this forum you seem to speak sense, my copy of the bible is on its way to me to start learning.

Indeed there are - all of it. Start at Genesis 1:1 and work your way through the beauty and wisdom of the Old Testament and then embark upon the details of a life-transforming Covenant that is the New Testament, culminating in Revelation 22:21

Re:22:21: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

(The "Surely I come quickly." bit is relative to the idea that, for God, time is pretty meaningless.)

unfortunately i am a slow reader although I am plodding my way through from the beginning as you suggested, it certainly makes sense what I have read so far.
