    Introduction

Hi, I guess I should introduce myself, so here I go.
I am Qamarun, it's Arabic for Full Moon. I chose the term because I like the sound of it and I like what it represents. I love Moon.
I am 26 years old girl. I am 15 years vegetarian.
I love the world and everything in it. I believe in all things being equal.
I speak 5 languages, namely English, Turkish, Arabic, Portuguese and Spanish. Learning Greek and Italian. I also want to learn Russian.
I study Islamic languages and culture at the University (Turkish and Arabic mainly, but also Farsi as an elective). Why? Because I've always been fascinated by their culture and languages, so I wanted to get to know them better.
I'm absolutely in love with everything Hindi and I hope to visit it some day soon. Language is also on my "to-learn" list.
I was born in Orthodox christian family, and I was baptized when I was 4, but in time I chose to follow a different path, a path of Mother Nature, of Love and free will.
I am engaged to be married for 5 years now. We still haven't set the date, but there's no reason to hurry. Education and exploring come first.
I respect all religions. Everyone is entitled to their own choice and I respect it whatever it is.
I do not approve "killing in the name of god" whoever that god may be. I do not approve killing at all. Human OR animal. We are all equal and free.

    Re: Introduction

Hello and welcome. Where are studying?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

      Re: Introduction

I honestly don't know where to begin with you, missy. Quite frankly, you are a spiritual mess.

Let's start with your contention that animals and human beings are somehow equal. Can you back that up with any Scripture?

I can tell you this much, vegetarianism is of satan. God wants us to eat animals. That's why He made them out of delicious meat. Read THIS and repent.
      Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

I don't NEED any scripture, it's my common sense that tells me what to do or don't do, nothing else.

Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? - Matthew 6:25

Actually, communism died in Serbia almost 30 years ago. Serbia is a Democratic republic now, for over 10 years. I'm not a communist. Politically, I'm a liberal. But I don't really like politics, so I don't like to declare myself as anything political.

I see ignorance is very common here. Eating organic veggies is far more expensive than any meat. I'm surprised you even know where Serbia is.

No, not really, though I never saw much difference myself. It's all Christianity to me, just as Sunni, Shi'a, Suffi and other Islamic denominations are all Islam.

Why not? And I'm seriously asking this because it's quite common here to baptize children between the age of 1 to 10, depending on family traditions. I was baptized by Prince Bishop of Orthodox church when I was 4.

I already mentioned the reason. Education comes first; we're still young and enjoying the life. Everything in due time.

I never said I didn't love Jesus. I believe he was an actual historical person living in Roman Empire about 2000 years ago doing many great things, but that's all. There's nothing to love or not love. To respect, yes, which I do.
I also respect the fact that most of you on this forum believe he was a son of God. Just as I respect the fact that Muslims believe he was nothing more but a prophet (which I find way more logical, btw). But no one respects the fact that I don't believe in this whole concept.
And this is bull! The only thing that killed my father was an illness. Pure biology. Nothing more. Nothing less.
He was a good man, but his time had come. And I believe he will come to me again in some other form when the Universe sees it fit.
