Wow, I just don't know how centuries of unshakable faith in the face of endless persecution, blood, sweat, and tears, will survive against such an irrefutable argument like this.
Christianity will never recover from this terrible blow. A word in your ear, if I may? Dismissing all people who trust in God, and follow Jesus, as stupid is a serious mistake.
There are a lot of canny, savvy, powerful people out there who trust in God and have every confidence that what they are doing in their private lives and in the public arena is supported by God.
The folks at LBC are not stupid. They make my head spin (but not like Linda Blair's or anything ) with their insights and Bible understanding.
I had professors who were trained at ivy league colleges who look like goofballs compared to these guys. Many of those profs were so enamored of the sound of their own voices or were so set on indoctrinating every one into their narrowly defined liberal perspective that they barely taught anything of real value.
Don't ever underestimate the True Believers at LBC. And don't EVER underestimate the power of religous people in this world.
